chall23ParticipantMan this guy has been such a disappointment. I’m honestly surprised he still starts, actually I’m surprised he still plays. He was touted as the next great shooter at Cuse when he was recruited and people really hyped him up. He can get hot no doubt about it, but I have never seen so many air balled threes in my life. Not to mention he was a full year older than other high school seniors when he graduated which apparently made him look better. Sorry for the rant I have just had it with him starting out hot and then taking irrational shots for the rest of the game. It’s just that kinda year for a Cuse fan.

TRC1991ParticipantOn a positive note, Malachi Richardson and Tyler Lydon look really good. Gbinije can make plays.
But like his standard teams, Boeheim has no depth.

machu46ParticipantTaylor hit in on the head. Just focus on Malachi and Lydon and everything will be alright.
I actually lived next door to Trevor at Syracuse; he’s a really great guy. But no doubt his inconsistency as a shooter has been frustrating. He gets his minutes for a few reasons:
1. He’s one of the leaders of the team.
2. He’s turned into a good defender at the top of the zone.
3. He’s still a perimeter threat despite his inconsistency.
4. The backup guard options are Franklin Howard (who I really like, but he can’t shoot at all right now) and Kaleb Joseph (who is likely to transfer).

connybucketsParticipantSucks for Cuse that Cooney couldn’t get going like he was projected. They’re gonna be pretty good next year even with Gbinije leaving
