I just don’t know where to begin with dude. It’s like he took the whole interview process as a joke. He has a buyer beware sign on him IMO. If you thought Hopson was bad, he has nothing on Leslie!

ilike.panochasParticipantHe came off a little cocky on this interview, but I like the fact that he doesn’t want to settle for a “Tony Allen Type” player and wants to be better. He has the right attitude but just didn’t show it as a “professional.”

HitsterParticipantThe interview was certainly a mixed bag but a lot will still depend on how he does with individual interviews and workouts. You can be hated by 10 GMs but it only needs one to like you and you can be drafted in a very nice position.

cabbycabParticipantDon’t see any problems with either of the interivews. They were extremely honest and confident. Let’s see what happens if he is matched up with Tony Allen next year.

JoeWolf1"I think I’m better than Tony Allen."
Oh, Travis…SMH

MagikKnickParticipantI dont think it was all that bad…no kid, outside of Memphis..grows up and says I wanna be as good as Tony Allen, and its good to have confidence in his game, just kinda said it at the wrong place, and wrong time…

JNixonParticipantHe’s not well-spoken or the type to split an atom or anything, but he’s also not a cocky guy at all. He went to HS around where I used to live, was thankful to even go to UGA and play basketball (wasn’t all that highly recruited compared to most of the draft prospects), and I’ve spoke to him each time I was home to go to a UGA game. I don’t think a team has to worry about him being an arrogant guy. Lets not go overboard here, especially since he seemed to have the gitters.

JoeWolf1I hear you MagickKnick, I’m sure he’d much rather hear the interviewer say D-Wade instead of Allen, but that’s not the right time to diss a current NBA player and one as mean as Tony Allen at that, lol.

sheltwon3ParticipantI honestly didnt find anything with Scotty Hopkins interview. Leslie interview came off wrong but in the end he has to prove that he is right and if he is then what can people say.
A lot of guys that are talented are not in the league because they lack confidence. Almost all NBA players are confident and a great deal are a tad cocky to full blown cocky.
Reporters were probably never jocks or dont like jocks so they dont get this.

The8thDeadlySinParticipantI love that one second he said "I dont work out alot" but then when he was asked if his "work ethic is a legit concern" he shot it down… LoL..
