Why would the Kings ever do

Why would the Kings ever do this? They get an overpaid, injury prone center and a worse version of Marcus Thornton. I get the 1st rounder, but, at this point, you are essentially trading a Top 5 pick in a weak draft for Demarcus Cousins. Would not happen.
