HarbingerYou didnt make it clear enough for ppl to understand.
Speaking on trade ideas I like boozer for josh smith and if the bulls can get Dwight some how that would be an awesome team for a while one of the best front courts in deng-howard-smith.Then the problem with the bulls would be the same as before depth and the sg but you wouldnt have to worry about the front court not living up to expectations.Boozer always seems to under perform come playoffs.

orangeshadow83ParticipantI don’t think the Hawks would give up Smith for Boozer. Boozer has that big contract, is injury prone, and isn’t even an upgrade over Smith so I don’t see why they would do this unless they want to get rid of Smith that bad but I think they could get better offers.
I would like to see the Rockets package a couple of their young talents for a proven superstar. The only person who really makes sense here is Pau Gasol. Scola, Flynn, Hill and a first for Gasol or something along those lines. Flynn in an upgrade at PG for the Lakers over Blake/Fisher and I would just like to see him get another chance for quality minutes.

PabloFiascoParticipantThose trades aren’t feasible…besides Eric Gordon has barely played this season and elected to become a restricted free agent this summer
Crawford has a player option so he’d probably leave Minny after this year, besides they don’t want a 30yr old SG they’re building with youth

PulseGlazerParticipantPablo – whether they should or not, reports have Minny chasing Crawford.

M-DYMESParticipantWhy w0uldnt he accept his player 0pti0n? He’ll be making m0re m0ney than he w0uld get 0n the market and this isn’t the w0lves fr0m years past. This team will be g00d/great f0r the next several years with this c0re.

PabloFiascoParticipantPulseGlazer – and just how often lately have we heard trade rumors that have been nothing more than rumors??? PLENTIFUL…they’d be another mistaken stop during his career
M-DYMES – because he’s actually worth something on the market. Look at how weak the league is at the SG position and he wants to compete for a championship. The Blazers looked primed and ready to compete but they’ve hit a landslide this season

HitsterParticipantIf Howard would really like to play with Josh Smith how about something involving Josh Smith for Gasol? The Lakers could use some of the exception they got for Odom, they get a younger guy in and move Gasol out East so he doesn’t end up on a rival. Atlanta get Gasol to pair with Horford and Johnson so can remain a good play off team and maybe get into the top 3 out East behind Chicago and Miami as Boston could soon rebuild and minus Howard the Magic would fall back.

HarbingerIt can work either way with the bulls or lakers hitster. The bull are more likely tho because rose was mvp and is younger then kobe which equals bigger window for championship in the eyes of smith and howard.Plus the unprotected cha pick in 2016 could have some great value for a team like the magic or hawks , neither knows where they will be in four years the bulls know they will be competing for a ship.
Boozer gives the hawks another post player who knows how that would work out boozer or horford never playing with another post player(as in off sound and not just there to block and rebound) it could make it easier for both.
I just really want to see smith traded the hawks are going anywhere with that core.

HitsterParticipantIf Chicago did decide to go after Howard then they do have tradeable pieces if we assume that Boozer is unlikely to be traded and D-Rose is off limits. For example if Orlando could lose Howard for nothing this season and still be left with Turko then some deal involving Deng and Noah would perhaps appeal to Orlando.
Chicago get a core of Howard, Rose, Turko, Boozer etc and can easily add a couple of veteran FA’s to give depth. Orlando get an All Star in Deng and a good big man in Noah, they move Turko and with the current supporting cast could hopefully remain a play off team and thus generate good revenue for the franchise. Chicago would have to send a sweetner but own all their picks going forward and the Charlotte pick could be very nice in a few years time as Harbinger rightly points out.
