aivsdirkParticipantlets start by analyzing the pelican cramp space at power foward. Ryan anderson and anthony davis both play the same spot and at times to me its seems both players are getting short changed in minutes. Both are clearly starters or deserve starter minutes. Anderson got lucky to receive his minutes because of davis’s injuries last year. He may not be that lucky this year. Heres my first trade to fix this issue. Trade anthony davis for anthony bennet of the cavs. Bennet is a hybrid forward and who works well with hybrid forwards, it is stretch 4s allowing anderson to play the minutes he is paid for and the pelicans get a 3 they desperately need to play with anderson. both are number 1 picks so the potential is equal more or less but davis gets the heavy starter minutes for cleveland. thompson still gets good minutes as zeller needs room to grow allowing him most of the back up minutes behind davis and varejao. and they still got gee who is reliable.
Trade idea # 2 still includes the pelicans, After trading davis they trade gordon who does not want to be there for maybe gortat of the suns. Pelicans get a legit center and suns get a young stud to help them moving forward also maybe pelicans ask for marshall to help backup holiday or cash or future picks.0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/04/2013 - 2:54pm #813315

SuckerpunchParticipantWow! This is quite entertaining. Does anyone want start a pool as to how long it takes for his negs to be higher than the leading points getter on .net? I think 2 weeks!

aivsdirkParticipanteverybody read the post talking about if new orleans can afford to bring anderson and evans off the bench. They can not and they need a 3 and C atleast i came up with a idea. How about tell me in detail based on basketball why you do not like it. I do not understand the critique of video and one line sarcasm.
To scliddiard i stated more or less. If you do not know what it means here the definition meaning similar potential but obviously one guy can be better be better than the other down the road. its like the guy ranting to keep his guns on tv you all get so smart mouthed and negative then one dog follows the tail of another and you cant critique what i am asking.0- Posted on: Thu, 07/04/2013 - 4:56pm #813335
SuckerpunchParticipantI don’t think people are disputing your opinion about the Pelicans’ rotation. I agree with that and think they should try and move Gordon. I assume its more along the lines of Anthony Davis for Anthony Bennett is a ridiculous trade.

aivsdirkParticipantwhen i thought it up it seemed good and when i write it down still seems good, so okay others think its a bad idea. but even though i still didnt get a legitimate critique i respect your response more. davis is very good. going to have to wait to see how bennet does in the nba but i guess i see it as two guys traded for each other that will be very good. I do not see davis being a superstar or being such a good player in the future he will be worth an indiscriminate amount more than bennet lets say 5 years down the road. Remember when i said it that Davis maybe becomes an all-star 5 or less times, most ocurring after randolph, lee and aldridge retire. bennet maybe an all star 3-5 times after the retirement of the many already proven small forwards, lebron, melo, deng, granger when he gets back healthy, deng, p george when he put it all together, j.smoove, and still after rudy gay. Just saying because of the guys in front of them and their limitations they will need years to workout make me see them more equal than most people i guess. but after careful consideration i understand sticking beside your number 1 pick in the other nba draft guys’ eyes

tdigiParticipantAll right aivsdirk I’ll offer some advice to you. Start watching full nba and college games and listen to the commentators, that’s a starting point, most of them are there because they know what they’re talking about.
Now to break down your trade. It’s no good because Anthony Davis is considered a franchise type player, someone you can build your team around. Lets say a future top 10 player in the league. Anthony Bennett was part of a draft where there were no discernible franchise players, instead Anthony Bennett is seen as a quality role player, probably a starter but I would say no lock to be an all star even once. Can you see why it’s an unfair trade?
I also think that Eric Gordon is far more valuable that marcin gortat on an expiring contract. You want to find a trade where both teams win, it’s not that easy to do either, you have to consider the salary cap and also what direction a team is going in. Anyway, good luck.0 - Posted on: Fri, 07/05/2013 - 3:51am #813645

XYRYXParticipantAt least you’re trying to make points for your opinion but still you are wrong here. The original post is truely right. I love Jeff Green and he was the reason why I followed the Thunder in the beginning. He really had bad luck after his disappointing ending with the Thunder and had his Heart beeing repaired but learned on this strong Boston veteran team and will have some big games this year for a rebuilding franchise comming next season! Rubio is not 19 anymore and has grown into his own physically. Still not the most durable point in the league but a very underrated defender and a healthy tall flashy player with incredible feel for the game in a shooting team with only offense will do big damage and I can really see him having John Wall type of level next year for a whole season could earn him Most Improved. I know it’s a bold statement but his ceiling is still a very entertainment version of beeing an elite 2k14 masterpiece beeing a top level team motor and defender. Watch out for him.
Dear aivsdirk,
Somehow you discovered the wish to express your opinion on this draftboard and smashed every neg records in a dramatic timely fashing. I just found out that the reason for your unbelieveable fails here is you just have no clue about Basketball at all. You have the worst picture and Interpretation of this wonderful sport and I’ve never saw anything before here or in met someone in my personal life. I just can’t believe you grew so old with such a ridiculous view of perspective. I really wonder how a person survives in the wild. Please GO AWAY and DON’T COME BACK!!!Find a new sport like Women Tennis and where Wimbledons German beauty finalists looks alone are worth watching it even you never heard of this sport in your life before. This should be a a realistic goal for a new beginning in the sports world to enjoy sharing your opinion on online forums.
It was somehow nice to meet you but it is time now to move on after this desaster around here.
Good bye,
a Basketball Fan who may not be always right with his opinions but just loves to follow the worlds best league in general worldwide and ever. We witness the platinum era of Baskeball in 2K14 mode and are looking into a fantastic future with two tons of talent and very young superstars entering their prime. KD, LeBron, Melo, CP3, Westrbook, Rose, Griffin, Marc Gasol, Noah, Ibaka, Harden, Aldridge, Rose, Love, George, J-Smooth, Wall, Irving, Curry, Davis, Griffin, Leonard, Parsons, Monroe are waiting for the generation change and are taking the league by storm and I can’t way to see how all of these players hit their prime and lead US into a incredible fast and modern era of NBA action.aivsdirk — member for 2 days and 4 hours counting — can explain that to someone
