flybobbyflyParticipantPortland trades
Rudy Fernandez
Jarryd BaylessMemphis trades
Mike Conley
2nd round draft picks.Portland cuts ties with rudy, picks Conley who is a good friend of Oden and a better fit for their back up point guard then bayless. He is more of a facilitator and pass first point guard. He also has a better outside shot.
Memphis gets 2 solid playmakers if they can make rudy willing to stay and play for them.
Portlands lineup
Miller,Conley
Roy, Matthews
Batum, Babbit
Aldridge, Camby
Oden, PryzbyllaMemphis lineup
Mayo, Bayless
Fernandez, Allen
Gay, Henry
Randolph, Arthur, Carol
Gasol, Thabeetmaybe not the best idea but its something. i think it would work out really well for the players involved anyways.

flybobbyflyParticipanti didnt even know the thing about henry being on the trade block.
well a straight up trade fernandez for henry makes sense, but memphis would have a lot to lose if rudy has really decided that he is done with the nba.
this idea was half baked anyway. where could you guys see rudy getting traded to? if anywhere0 - Posted on: Thu, 08/19/2010 - 5:17am #379756

mikeyvthedonParticipantWould be giving up far too much for Mike Conley here. I know Greg Oden and Mike Conley’s connection, but this trade would be a bad move for Portland. Plus, I can not see Rudy being at all happy about going to Memphis with Bayless and with Xavier Henry being their, two guys who could potentially cut into his minutes. Also, I do not see the Mayo playing point thing happening. It just does not seem like it will work, count me as a skeptic. No go for either team, though Memphis would be by far getting the better of the deal if both players played, and maybe even if they just got Jerryd, who I think has more upside than Mike Conley due to his ability to attack the basket.
