SiggyParticipantA couple of those lines if you look at their complete line (like including TOs and FG%) look less impressive.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantOh definitely
I wanted to focus on the positive aspect of it but there were a few turnover machines in these games

BasketballJunkie224Participanti mean carter williams had 9 TOs (i assume thats who your talking about) but i mean for his first summer league game 26,8,7..somewhat close to a tripple double in his first summer league game? il take that all day even with 9 TOs…just wish he didnt shoot 0-6 from 3 but nontheless very impressive IMO..he was the suprise of the day

Mr. 19134ParticipantI love how MCW was said to lack a killer instinct and didn’t project as a prolific scorer so in his first SL game he drops 26 while still being a prolific distrubitor who makes plays on defense and rebounds yet all anybody can talk about is his 9 turnovers.
Fouls and turnovers come with the sloppy summer league play especially the first game when teammates ain’t even on the same page.
Bottom line is MCW looks more NBA ready then initially projected and appears ready to have a big rookie year.

BigMac12111ParticipantNot very impressive when he only shot ~35% from the floor.
I mean, it’s great that he can rebound and throw some nifty passes, but when he’s below “chucker” territory from the field AND he didn’t make any of his 3’s AND high turnovers (some, as you said, came from sloppy play/chemistry from teammates) I can’t really say that he had an impressive day.
Does he look more NBA ready than reported? Yes. Does he look any less a project than reported? No.

kobyzParticipantCall me crazy but Oladipo remind me Russell with the way he is getting to the basket and with how Orlando are using him at a point.

i’m jus so offendedParticipantI’m totally with you. I think their offense would be way more limited in this capacity and i’m not sure it would work period but…let’s be real, how much worse could they be? Seems like the guys really like Victor and he will blow by a good amount of nba PG’s and defend them well. If this is the role they envisioned him when they drafted him, i’m even more interested to see them now

EntropyParticipantOladipo was ok but he looks best when driving to the basket, i want to see him do that way more often.
