JoeWolf1He should be #1 because he embodied the letter “O” by wearing 00 most of his career. Although, when he switched to 39 me and my friends started calling him Thirty-ninestertag.

TRC1991ParticipantI actually take issue with this list. Shaq had a better career than Hakeem and I dont think its acceptable to continue placing him 2nd to Hakeem

ChewyParticipantNeither center could beat Jordan when he was playing a full season. Shaq had a better career just because he could play with Kobe in the post-MJ era? Shaq may have more rings, but I still think the Dream is a better player.

JoeWolf1I’d love to see a 28 year old Shaq and a 28 year old Hakeem go at it, but the 95′ Finals where Hakeem hung 33 ppg /11.5/5.5/2/2 on Shaq ( although Shaq put up great #’s himself ) pretty much coasted to a championship will always come up. That series took me from a casual basketball fan to a serious one…Hakeem vs Shaq in the finals was great to see, but a 32 year old Hakeem took him.

jmarg25ParticipantOlajuwon’s two DPOY awards and more respectable ft% puts him above Shaq for me.

ItsVictorOladipoParticipantThe Hakeem/Shaq debate is one of the closest debates of all time IMO. Shaq was more unstoppable on offense and was just a freak of nature in terms of size/strength/quickness. He also had 2 more championships and 1 more Finals MVP than The Dream. But Hakeem was more well rounded, he was the superior defender and he had no weaknesses whereas Shaq had free throw shooting as an Achilles heel.
Personally I have Shaq ranked higher on my All-Time list too but I can see a legit argument both ways.

Moon RiverParticipantMan I thought Billy Owens was going to be a star in the Association. Loved Billy the chill at Syracuse.
Also- #11 should be Bo Outlaw. He bounced around quite a bit but was a solid NBA player who played from 1993-2008.

TarHeelRavenParticipantyeah KryptGrandpa, Greg Ostertag should definitely be on this list. Replace him with Emeka Okafor.

d_money31ParticipantI was hoping for an Ostertag on the list as well. No Outlaw could easily be on the list as well.
