From your opinion not from scouts.com or rivals.com, who well become the best players to play in the NBA from the 2010 class of HS? Here my top ten.

1.Terrence Jones/Kentucky – Call me a idoit know but we’ll see in the future. He has a pretty jump shot for a Power Forward which can be useful in college and the NBA.
2.Enes Kanter/Kentucky – He can take it to the paint and can also take his oppent to the ark.
3.Harrison Barnes/North Carolina – Well do great under Roy Williams. And is skilled at many things.
4.Josh Selby/Kansas – Best denfender in HS and has amazing speed and great athleticism.
    5.C.J. Leslie/NC State – His game is a copy of Kevin Garrnett’s.
6.Perry Jones/Baylor – He plays like a guard but has the body of a forward.
7.Brandon Knight/Kentucky – He is a pass first score later guard.
8.Ryan Harrow/NC State – Has the best cross-over in HS. Also has a bright basketball IQ.
9.Patric Young/Florida – A kid that is tough and we’ll play ever game like it’s his last.
10.Jared Sullinger/Ohio State – Has the body the of a NBA player.

    So what’s your’s?

What do you see in Selby, I just see another undersized PG in the mold of Ellis or Arenas. I actually see him as being the biggest bust of all the top players.

The reason he so high is because he defends, players this days just care about scoring 50, his a player who cares abot getting 2.0 steals and maybe even 1.0 block a game.

If Harrison Barnes can get on a team where he is the second option he will be very good but if he is the first then he will struggle.

1.Harrison Barnes – Great Wing player can play 2 or 3 could be a poor man’s kobe bryant
2.Perry Jones – If he reaches his potential he could be a kevin durant player, long wingspan,
athletic, good handles at worst, anthony randolph
3.Josh Selby – Can play the 1 or 2 great scorer, improving court vision, needs to improve decision making
4.Brandon Knight – Tall guard at 6’4 or 6’5 good court vision, Lightning quick, good handles and has range, needs to stop taking up too many threes
5.Jared Sullinger – Most NBA Ready, Wont be a star, but will produce
6.CJ Leslie – Most Athletic player in the draft, High Motor, Lethal in transition, tweener
7.Kyrie Irving – Good Decision Making, Smart Player, Good In Transition
8.Enes Kanter – Dominates the paint, good scoer and great rebounder
9.Terrence Jones – Great Court Vision, Good rebounder, good scorer, has range, could be a
Lamar Odom player and play point forward or could be dorrell wright
10.Cory Joseph – Best Guard defender, Good range, athletic

wow shelby bust?..have you watched him play other then the allstar games?..if you have then theres no way you can think bust. he’s in the mold of steve francis(who’s game he copies) after watching him ina couple games after i went back to maryland i was more then convinced that he is the truth. people think because he scores alot that he’s more of a sg but thats far from the case. he has very good court vision and handles, it just so happens that he can also score on anyone and he’s very tough(like al guards from Bmore) and he likes to lock down on defense.

With that said i say the best pro will be barnes ( he is just sooooo skilled) or tobias harris( whos only a step behind barnes as far as most skilled)

I am a UK fan, but from everything I have seen and read, Knight is not a pass first guy. He is more of a less selfish Monte Ellis type, but maybe Cal will turn him into an assist machine.

Also, Kanter should end up #1. He killed at the Hoops Summit and he has played against pros in Europe. He has a mature game for his age and his body is already of a pro. Sullinger said he was the strongest player he has ever played against.

I love Jones’ and Barnes’ upside, but Kanter will be the most pro ready of anyone in this class.

dont like the perry jones/kevein durant comparisons at all because there games are wayyyyy different. durant is a much much better shooter( was a better shooter in hs) better ball handler and he goes harder. perry is more like lamar odom with his skill and how he just coast most times during games. most people are just blinded by how good of a athlete he is ala jordan from the clippers but he doesnt seem to have that go hard in him. He does have the most potential because of his skill set but how often does a guy who coast and doesnt go hard ever reach that potential?

I think alot of people on here haev not seen tobias harris which is why hes not on some people’s list but anyone whos seen him play knows this kid is the truth 6’8-6’9 can play 3,4,5 has nba range, goes hard, athletic. had a couple of triple doubles in highschool, and know as a hard worker while being extremely skilled

Yeah, I like Irving better than both Knight and Selby also…

And yeah, from the limited Brandon Knight that I have seen, he definitely seems like a scoring point guard, but you never know….his role on his HS team was to score, maybe once surrounded with better teammates at UK we’ll see something different

Yeah, I also think Harris is right behind Kanter, Barnes and Jones. He isn’t flashy, but he fills the box score. He is gonna be one of those guys that will lead the Vols to many wins, but you will see the box score and say, “He did all that?” Him and Hopson should be a fun high flying act to watch next year.

    The SEC is back.

did you watch knight on his aau team the past couple of years?..scored while passing and getting double figure assist. hes become more of a scorer because he has to be on his hs team just like ed cota( was putting up damn near 30 a game in hs because he had to). knight can score or pass depending on what his team needs. hes not john wall but hes a much better set up man/passer then bledsoe was

yeah harris is better and much more skilled then jones. i dont think katner can really be on the list since all we hacve seen is one game of him. if im not mistaken casy jacobson scored abotu 30 in the world games and wayne ellington so imma wait to see more then one game before i say what he might be in the nba. i think he will be a pretty good college player though

Does anyone else think Brandon Knight is extremely overrated? He is ranked so high and was supposed to be the next beast guard, but I would take tons of people in the class over him. He doesn’t look like he will be all that great to me.

I think one game was enough with those numbers. He just did there what he was doing in Europe.

He was named the Most Valuable Player in the 2009 FIBA Europe Under-18 Championship, averaging 18.6 points and 16.4 rebounds while leading Turkey to the bronze medal.

    Pro summit was no fluke.

is this based off of knights mcdonalds and world performance?..i think most people are basing it off of those and if i hadnt watched him during aau then id agree but this kid is forreal!!! i just hope people dont get all hyped on the allstar games because it is ….allstar games. ala derrick favors. its alot different when the offense runs through you and youre not sharing a bunch of minutes and you have the dribble drive offense

With the Wildcats he has to the weapons to be a great passer also Calipari can always transform his PG into passer’s. I watch John Wall all the time in HS and trust me that dude never passed lol. But with Kentucky he avg. 6.5 assist and that is a crazy change. Same thing with Brandon Knight.

Harrison Barnes may not become an all-star at the NBA level but the kid looks like an absolute piece of work in that he’ll have a real good NBA career.

One of my top 5 is DeShun Thomas. I love what I’ve seen of this kid on YouTube (yes I’m admitting that I’m going off YouTube clips) but he has a nice release and based on those vids can hit from the perimeter.

Perry Jones can bring back that tall/big shooting guard/small forward (see: Bender, Jonathan, McGrady, Tracy) back to the league. Kid was the DeMar DeRozan of the summer two years ago – aka the kid that jumps up the rankings after AAU play.

I hope JT Terrell gets a good two years under him and then takes his game to the NBA.

also, based on body language and what I have seen in game…. perry jones is more mcgrady than durant.

durant seems to be in KILL mode all the time. Mcgrady was notorious for taking plays off. Even taking games off.

Knight is in now way a pass first, maybe he will be , but right now, he just keeps chuckin up 3’s
I used kevin durant because they’re both lang, has good handles, shooting guards in a power forwards body and i’m saying that will be his BEST CASE i dont think he will get that though,
Perry Jones to t-mac is pretty accurate too

    1. Perry Jones – has the most potential out of the class and will be a poor mans durant he just has to be more agressive he has the mindset of a vince carter
    2. Harrison barnes- i dont see the kobe comparison at all i see him more as a joe johnson good at almost everything and great at nothing
    3. kyrie irving – can be a Chris paul type
    4. Josh Selby – Baron davis watched him play enough to know that he is not overrated and will be a good PG in the NBA
    5. Brandon Knight – cant really compare him but if i was 2 i would have to say a slender D.Will can score with any guard in the class and in a very underrated passer i have watched like 6 games from him and enough film to know he is a really good passer and that pine crest team besides him had no other player even being recruited and i think he led them to chips twice
    6. Fab Melo i think he is overrated
    7. Enes Kanter – reminds me of kevin love
    8. Tobias Harris – poor mans carmelo anthony
    9. Terrence Jones – left handed brandon roy
    10. Jared Sullinger – dont like him to much thinks he is overrated and he will be like luke harongody to me

    1. Kyrie Irving- Chauncey Billups Type player (not as aggresive) makes great Desicions and excellent in transition. makes players better around him and Coach K is gonna make him another Jay Williams type of player through his system.

    2. Brandon Knight- Can score in big numbers with lots of range. doesnt have a great shot selection but will make you pay if not double teamed. playing next to Enes Kanter should make him get more shots up playing in the Kentucky system.

    3. Perry Jones- A 7’0 Tracy Mcgrady (not as quick) has the most potential since Kwame Brown, been hyped up as a kid and has to live up to his abillity. shows flashes of NBA highlights but doesnt show a killer Instinct. needs a year or 2 in the Big12.

    4. CJ Leslie- Identical twin to Kevin Garnetts game, shows emotion after every Dunk (feeds off Crowd) and protects the paint. will most likely be a second option in the NBA.

    5. Ryan Harrow- Most underrated point guard in High School. Best handles since Tim Hardaway and Steve Francis (Hot Sauce Dribbling Coach is his Trainer). skinny body but breaks down anybody who dares to stay in front of him, shows great vision on the break and will be a dangerous point guard playing along side CJ Leslie

    6. Enes Kanter- Takes up alot of space in the paint, Great Offensive Scorer never backs down. Will be a solid Role player in the NBA.

    7. Josh Shelby- Have the most opportunity to shine at Kansas, Best Defender in his class and can put up 40 on anyone when hot.

    8. Harrison- Great all around game. makes few mistakes and is a student of the game. Refuses to lose and is a very intellegent man. Will have a great future in the NBA but not a star. Reminds me of a Luol Deng.

    9. Terrance Jones- Big boy who continues to grow, Runs the floor very rare often out running wings, is a 20-10 guy in the League and will be lethal at Kentucky next year.

    10. Jared Sullinger- Daddies little boy who owns Ohio basketball. Bitches around kids in high school but wont at Ohio State, Undersized Center at 6’8. Will be a Role Player in College

Brandon Knight will be the best out of them just give him some time. He had to score in high school because his team sucked. I watched his team on ESPN 2 one day vs. Austin Rivers team and he had to carry the team the whole game or else they would of been blown out.

i see a few people are saying tobias harris and it makes me pretty glad. im wondering if alot of people have seen him play. that kid has skills. he didnt play in the all star games on tv because of injury but he is 1 of the best players in the class.
Also i kinda agree about josh selby being a bit of a bust. I mean yea hes good and he looks great against his high school mates but i do see him as a tweener monta ellis type. I dont think he will be a solid point in the league honestly.
Perry Jones HAS a lot of potential but all the Tracy mcGrady kevin durant comparisons…..i jus dont kno about those. Ive said it before he at times looked lost in those all star games and didnt seem interested or as aggressive as any of his teammates.
Kyrie and Harrison barnes i think will be the best in the class. Sullinger will also be a star

1.Harrison- seems like we have another freshman phenom.
2.P.Jones- if Durant had Dirk/T-mac comparison so how about “KG meets T-Mac” for Perry..offcourse if he will reach his ceiling but there is SO big IF.
3.B.Knight-people keep saying his is overrated, so i like to say he is underrated now. 2-time POY gets now love from you..those tittles weren’t for nothing, i see second coming of Arenas maybe not 29ppg scorer but looks like way more mature.
4.J.Selby-scoring machine, physical, athetic l& like AND1 player love to see him play..he is probably even better passing pg than Knight just not that type of team’s leader to be full time PG but i don’t see a big problem here especially when he is so good defender too
5.J.Sullinger-in those 3 big events impressed probably even more than Harrison.
    6.K.Irving
7.C.J.Leslie-freak athlete, maybe worse shooter more dribbling Wesley Johnson?
    8.E.Kanter
    9.T.Jones
    10.J.Smith

really to me the best player in this class is clearly Sullinger…..I have seen him play in person and on tv a million times and he has never had a bad game ever…..the comparisons to harangody are proposterous….

Brandon Knight is the truth….dont be fooled by his McDonalds performance he balls….

and most off this is a super weak HS class…..2011 is where its at…..Knight and Sullinger are awesome but there are probably ten guys from 2011 that are better than both of them…..

Perry Jones and Will Barton have star potential if they want to be…..
