EndlessknightParticipantI’m actually a big Wroten fan but it’s obvious that him and MCW can’t play together, both are too ball dominate, thus one of them needs to be moved. According to libertyballers.com the Sixers are actively shopping Wroten so I guess they’ve made their choice and decided to go with Williams. What can they expect in return for Wroten? Can they get a 1st and a 2nd?

tuck243ParticipantAnyone would be an idiot to give up that much for Tony Wroten… The bad part about him and MCW is that you STILL don’t know how good both players are. Both are terrible shooters but MCW is a better defender of the 2… It’s all opportunity with him and almost every player at his position can get his numbers if they had the same green light… Most I can see is a late first rounder maybe…

EndlessknightParticipantIf that’s the case I rather just keep him. The guy is still only 21 and improving. He’s great at getting to the basket and his jump shot is getting better.

tuck243ParticipantI personally would trade MCW than him… You’ll get more for MCW and Tony mentality is aggressive. Not saying MCW attitude is bad, but Wroten seems to play with a chip on his shoulder… That’s something you need with a terrible team.

EndlessknightParticipantIn many I also like Wroten better but MCW is the new face of the franchise so I don’t seem them trading him unless some one overpaid, and I high doubt anyone would.

r377ParticipantThey have so many picks and young prospects they almost need to think about building a bench now.
Prospects – starters pg mcw. sg ? sf saric. pf noel. c embiid.
They should keep Wroten as a backup or split the mins 50-50 or even 60-40 with mcw as the starter, but no doubt the Sixers will trade him for a future draft pick (like they always do)

EndlessknightParticipantWhile I agree in princple, the problem is that Wroten and MCW are horrible together so bad that they actually make each other worse when played at the same time. But Wroten’s to good to leave on the bench (he’s the teams leading scorer).
That coupled with the fact that Wroten only has one year left on his current deal means he has to me moved soon.

r377ParticipantThe Clippers have interest in Wroten – prelim talk already. I think the Clippers should also ask about AK-47 from the sixers.

EndlessknightParticipantUnfortunately for the Sixers AK-47 refuses to move from the metro NYC area until his wife is fully recovered, thus his trade value is nil.
