WolfRobParticipantWow, I knew that Dom Cooks kid when he was younger. Really sad to see his current situation… Heartbreaking honestly.
I gained a lot of respect for Tone though after seeing this. He is a really hard worker. He’s gonna be successful in the league.

Lotto StudParticipantA favorite of mine. This makes me respect him even more.

PrecociousNeophyteParticipantI definitely respect Wroten more then I did before this video. I like the fact that he realizes that he can’t take this opportunity to play in the NBA for granted. He knows that he should not be complaining about anything because a lot of people in the world i’m sure would love to be in his shoes. Much respect for Tony here and keep up the good work.

FastAndFuriousParticipantGained even more respect from me.
Hard to see him not being successful in the league, when everyone he’s around and kicks it with heavy(Jamal Crawford,Brandon Roy,Isaiah Thomas,Nate Robinson) is successful.

Pro 1ParticipantYeah, Chad Ford was trying to throw some shade on TWJr in one of his insider reports saying that his off court activities might be a red flag or cause concerns for teams in the draft……smdh
He is hanging, working out with BRoy, JCrawford and other local Seattle area hs/college/pro basketball players on a daily basis and his LOE crew is a positive group of his friends not a gang or anything of that nature.
After the combine (legit measurements) & individual team workouts this kid will rise into the Lottery in my mind.

Dale WorthingtonParticipantYou could make the argument that Wroten has the highest upside in the draft.
How often does a 6’7 elite athlete with elite court vision and elite passing ability at the point come along?
Can anyone answer that?
Whoever is taking this kid is committing 1st degree highway robbery.

Pro 1ParticipantTWJr measured 6’5 barefoot and 6’6.5 in shoes at the 2011 Deron Williams Skills Camp, he reminds me of a mix of Gary Payton & Penny Hardaway or a new school Michael Ray Richardson.

Pro 1ParticipantI can see that (JW, TE) comparison as well. I also see a little Rondo in him as well.
PJIII & TWJr are my 2 biggest talents in this draft outside of ADavis as if both of those kids go to the right team, play in the right system for their talents they could both could be considered draft steals wherever they eventually get drafted at in 2012.

Pistol Pete. The PelicanParticipantTony Wroten has gotten a lot of comparisons, but I think a good one is Russell Westbrook, they have the same abilities and deficiences coming out. Great athletes, good size for their position, combo guards, broke jumpers. I think Tony Wroten will end up being a 2 in the league though. At this time, he is kind of like alec burks last year. Athleticism, all around player, good stats, just doesn’t really have a jumper.

Pro 1ParticipantI think TWJr will be a pg in the NBA.

seattleslimParticipantwatching rondo these playoffs i think wroten can be like rondo but a better more elite scorer. wroten is bigger stronger quicker and much better at getting by his defender and getting to the rim. i dont like the westbrook comparison because i think russ is way more explosive! not saying wroten isn’t but not to the level of westbrook, its not a bad comparison like the t-will but i think rondo or tyreke is a better comparison.

Pro 1ParticipantI can really see a bigger Rondo in TWJr- with hard work, but the talent is there to be cultivated by some lucky team come draft nite.

Pro 1ParticipantTWill & TWJr are friends in real life but they are nothing alike when it comes to personalities……..TWill is a bit eccentric in his ways, in a good way, to say the least.

Pro 1ParticipantNBA draft combine on the horizon……moment of truth….

Pro 1ParticipantTony’s group of friends LOE is not a gang but a bunch of mostly Seattle area athletes (JT Terrel NCarolina/USC & JJ Jenard (NewOrleansUniversity of Washington), muscians & college students doing positives things in life.
