For_Never_EverParticipantShaq was just saying Deandre Jordan is the best center in the NBA.

BasketballJunkie224Participantil tell you what, deandre jordan is not the BEST center in the nba but shaq wasnt too far off. id rank him 3rd behind howard and bynum. and bynum is injured and howard isnt playing ‘great’ so it wasnt the worst comment ever

kingofbumsParticipantpretty damn sure he aint third best either…you cant take 8 games and label him better than players who have been productive for many seasons like al jeff, horford, noah, hibbert(i know hes in a slump yes), cousins, monroe, marc gasol, even gortat…if you want to add pf that are playing center then duncan, KG, bosh as well c’mon son

For_Never_EverParticipantBarkley did respond telling him Dwight is, then Shaq repeated himself saying Deandre Jordan is the best center in the NBA.
I do believe Deandre Jordan will end up becoming the second or third best center though, because I think Bynum will always have major knee issues. It just looks like every good center is better then Dwight to Shaq.

goneParticipantEveryone who put jordan in the top 5 is sipping that Espn koolaid. I’m making my stake for Marc Gasol as the third best center, he is the best passing big man and he plays winning basketball if Gasol was the main post option he’d easily avg 18 10 and 3

SubZeroParticipantI’d say Varejao is above him at this point in the season. I wouldn’t even put Jordan in my top 6 or 7. Dwight, Bynum, Gasol, Hibbert, Varejao, Cousins, Jefferson, and a few more are better than him IMO

kingofbumsParticipantseems like a lot of ppl here are sleeping on joakim noah…i understand that ppl may just think hes avg cuz he only outplays others by hustling but i caught one of the bulls game this season and i have to say he is much improved. his offensive game or shall i say he actualy has an offensive game now and he is shooting very well from the line…hes also making plays for teammates so when you talk about the top5-8 centers in the league he should be in that convo…if you take what hes doing this season and even prior season i would take him over hibbert…he might not have the same caliber post moves before but now its pretty much even and he grabs more boards than hibbert. im just sayin…look out for this guy especially with rose out.
