Brace94ParticipantRicky Rubio won’t stay in Minnesota, and some team will take a big chance on him. Why not trade Rubio for Turner because we NEED a 2 guard, not to mention he could take over the point sometimes. Or we could trade him and a pick or two for a defensive minded center. We could also trade Jefferson, he hasn’t been performing well at all, he has been averaging around 17 points per game, but our best player has to be averaging at least 23 points per game. trade Jefferson and Rubio for Okefor and Collison. But they should not trade Love or Flynn. Love is averaging 15 pts. and 11 rbs. he almost gets as many points as Jefferson and almost 5 rebounds more than Al. Love is only going to get better at scoring too and is a solid post passer aswell. Everyone thinks Flynn is a bust. but he has potential out the wazoo! he can score get into the lane, pass, play very solid D, rebound, and he is very athletic and strong. if he had a good backcourt partner like Turner, Henry, Johnson, and some other players, he would be averaging 7-9 assists a game and would be able to score more often too. i think the t-wolves should trade Jefferson and their 23rd and if they have to 16th pick to get Cousins and number 5 pick.

severinParticipantobviously everyone thinks the wolves should make moves to get turner. I agree. Turner and flynn would make a good backcourt. otherwise henry or johnson would not be bad options. Ithink henry or bradley would give the wolves the shooter they desperately need. But If I am the wolves I still think Ellington can be a future star and I don’t let go of him.

bdoody42ParticipantI think Ellington can be very good backup on a contender but he is a defensive liability as of now. I think like many do that they need to try to get Turner, bu if they cant trade up and get him, I think they should trade down and get Henry. I think some teams would like to jump on to 4th pick and get Cousins. They do this trade and get another a late first round pick as well. Kings would be pissed if someone jumped ahead of them to take Cousins.

the microwaveParticipantphilly wouldnt do that deal lol…Philly does not need a PG at all. jrue Holidays progress last season was crazy… he is our PG of the future and last season (was the youngest player to play in the nba) so he has time to grow.. PIcking up Rubio (w/o him coming over until at least 2011) helps philly how????
I can see minny / philly doing a deal for Turner (even though i doubt it goes down) considering your wolves have 5 picks in this draft, including 3 first rounders…

The Scare Crow ReturnsParticipantThe 4th/16th and Ellington for the 2nd pick…You take Turner…We’d take Cousins or Favors(NJ will pick Cousins…I Bet money on it) We look for Henry/Babbit/Udoh or Whiteside at 16…Ellington being a plan B if someone picks Henry before us…Then Babbit( For Scoring and possible Iggy or Thad Trade )Udoh and Whiteside For Defensive purposes (also Whiteside has great potential) And Ellington is from the Philly area…Would you T’Wolves Fans take that…I’ll give you Jason Smith too if you throw me that 23rd pick…He’s an athletic 7’0 that can also stretch the floor…not the best defender…but you have Darko…

NorthernLights666Participant4 and 16 for Turner, no more.

Brace94ParticipantTrade Jefferson for Turner, 76ers dont want Turner because they already have Holiday, Williams, Igoudala, and Young. and they need a center because Dalembert isnt very good anymore. And if we could trade 16th, 23rd, and Sessions for the 2nd or 3rd pick, we can get Cousins to replace Jefferson at Center because Jefferson isnt a true center anyway. Sessions doesnt want to stay anyway. Dont trade Flynn, Love, and Ellington, they could be great players.

BlueLacesParticipantI would throw Ellington into the mix if that means we can get Turner. Ellington’s potential isn’t near what Turner’s is. Also, the Wolves aren’t going to trade Rubio. They will hold onto him until next year and he will play in a Wolves uniform. Now I could be wrong and things could change, but Kahn is in love with Rubio and he doesn’t want his first big personel move to be considered a failure. His ego won’t let Rubio play anywhere else in the NBA except for the Timberwolves.

esperanzafleet69Participantfirst of all… ricky rubio WILL play for the timberwolves… second off, Al Jefferson was coming off a pretty serious knee injury… and it take a lot of time to fully recover if at all from injuries like that… especially if ur 7 foot…

kanebangerParticipantdont say flynn can be a great player hes going to be at best a decent backup Pg in his lifetime nothing more. Why is everyone on Ellingtons jock? you guys realize the twolves were 15-67. How can you say that anyone on that team should stay they should all be tradeable Ellington is 6th man not a starter why do you need to keep a mediocre 6th man rofl. The wolves should just take turner and Brands contract what else are the wolves going to do with their cap space no one good will sign with them. And maybe Brand produces a little too who knows. The team needs to get better as a whole in every position and ever facet of the game

FDAPOFlynn a decent backup at full potential??? I disagree… Flynn would already be an amazing backup PG for any team in the league. He could be a good starter next year.

kanebangerParticipanthe was a starter this year and Ramon Sessions played better than him. NBA analysts even think flynn was overhyped. he does everything Average. Nothing special at all

mngopherParticipantFlynn has the desire, strength, and skill to be a good starting point guard. I think Kahn will move up to take Turner, deal Jefferson away, and get Aldrich to give him a center with some defensive ability. Adding Rubio next year, and another lottery pick could give them a deep and talented line-up starting the 2011-12 season.
