the raptors suck…. and so do their "young gunz". they invested their whole future in 3 guys who averaged 21ppg total last season.

These guys have a lot of potential.  I think the Raptors are going to do much better than most people expect.

nah they really aren’t that good… every team has young players with "potential", and the Raptors young "potential" is probably second worst to Cleveland. Even bottom feeder teams like Minny have Beasley, Love, Johnson etc.

Most of their starters would be role players in other teams. Bargnani and Barbosa are strong 6th men or solid starters, but they are their best players. I see a lot of trouble for them. They can’t rebound, they can’t defend and have no depth.

Regardless of what I think about the players or the team, Weem’s acceleration was impressive on that breakaway.. Jumped a step inside the foul line and swung the ball around and around… Impressive athletic ability..

I’ve always been a big fan of Weems. Before last season, I picked him to finish fourth in the Most Improved Player voting.

    That being said…

"BEASTS" is a strong word; especially if you’re going ALL CAPS. Give them a few years to gel, and develop a semi-reliable three point shot.

Raps are dreaming of having the next Kobe and Gasol in Derozan and Ed Davis.

Problem is those 2 are closer to Ricky Davis and Chris Wilcox.

Who’s on this team now that Bosh and Turkoglu are gone.

Calderon, Bargnani are solid players the rest are nothing special and this team still won’t play D.

The NBA has some really bad teams
