Here is a list of who I project should be invited to try out for the 2014 Team USA for the World Championships. Every year there’s always players who accept invitations but decide not to play. In 2010 not one player from the 2008 Olympic team decided to try out for the last world championships. There’s also always players who pull out at the last minute do to injuries. You’ll never know who has interest in playing until the time comes. In 2010 half of Team USA was born in 1988 (21-22 years old) and those players were originally invited for development who ended up playing big roles on te team. Realize that guys like JJ Redick, Kyle Korver and Larry Sanders are on here to be used as role players if they make it and you younger guys like MKG and Bradley Beal are on here for development. It’s also obvious that several of these guys on here are here in case of several of our better players decide not to play
