We are past halfway and the trade talk is starting to heat up, so I ask what teams do you see needing to make tweaks and what tweaks do you want your team to make?

I will start with my team the Indiana Pacers:
    – Now they started to show signs for a while and they have changed GR3 out for CJ Miles which I am neither for or against as they both seem to have a similar impact. Now for me the biggest let down has been the bench in Indiana, Big Al is playing well and that is about it. I really think Stuckey could be the answer as he is very capable of 10-14ppg off the bench and be a legitimate wing scorer as the trio of George, Teague and Turner seem to be getting Indiana into good positions only for bench to struggle. Problem is Stuckey can’t seem to remain healthy.

I would love Indiana to have a look at a guy like Lou Williams for maybe Stuckey and 1st rounder. (Stuckey has player option of only $7mil) but he wants to win so may not want to stay in LA which could work for both sides.

Charlotte Hornets: I really feel they need to find another scorer next to Walker. Batum, Williams, Zeller, Kaminsky are all nice scorers, but far from elite. Now this may seem like a long shot, but the team I am contacting is New York about Carmelo. I know he has a no-trade clause and Charlotte isn’t the big market location ,but it is owned by MJ (who happens to sponsor Melo) and it has a pieces to be a solid play-off contender. He would bring 20ppg a night and with a solid coach in Clifford I think Carmelo could fit nicely.

Of course it would be up to Carmelo to say yes and I think New York could do worse than asking for pick and MKG or Kaminsky in return.

Denver Nuggets: For a longtime they have had a lot of good players, but no star that might be changing with Jokic looking like the 2nd coming of Marc Gasol. Now what they need to do is build around him and I think they need to find a pure PG to run the show along with finding more time for guy I like Murray who can flat-out shoot the ball.

I am ringing Minnesota and looking for Ricky Rubio who could really fit nicely in the up and down style of Denver and make some highlight plays with his passing.

    Accidentally hit submit too early.

Rubio would be nice, but I think the best fit would be a guy like Brandon Knight. He can shoot the three, create and is an underrated defender an athlete. He would be nice next to Harris their 3-D 2-guard with Gallo and Faried in there as well, Nurkic is already on the table and they own the Memphis pick so could part with that potentially to get a vet like Chandler who can bring a lot to the table defensively, really making the Nuggets a threat.

     OKC thunder:

The only players I would keep off limits:Adams,Abrines,Kanter,Oladipo and Westbrook..

I would use any of the rest to get one maybe two of the following:

Stanley Johnson-Could be an nice fit as he is a two way play when given the chance.

One of the Morris twins(Either one would be a nice fit by Adams) my guess is the Detroit is more available of the two.

T.J Warren-Could be either a key piece off the bench who you could let go to work(as the guy can score) or a nice starting small forward beside westbrook and co…

Dion Waiters(If the heat let him go that is)as he could play the same role as last season but maybe more time as the back up PG…

Mario Herzonja:I like his potential as he just maybe needs a coach that gives him a chance to play he could be a nice fit off the bench either spelliing the small forward,SG spot maybe the PF spot in small ball..

    and

Wilson Chandler if he is available..

Who we can realistically get though all depends on how far out of the playoffs teams are and how much they believe they are part of the teams future to what the cost will be for the player.
