valentineHe knew exactly what he was doing, nobody just kicks their leg up like that, he knew exactly where he was. It’s proven Draymond doesn’t like Adams, he gets in his face for no reason. Stuff like that shouldn’t be allowed on the basketball court or anywhere. If that was me, I’d be on the grow crying for a good 5 minutes then I’d go kick Draymond’s ass. Screw you Draymond, that’s such amatuer hour bs, showing your true colors when things aren’t going your way.

gabriel_akvaParticipantDon’t agree. Almost every player, when shooting the ball near the basket and gets touched hard by the other player, tries to show the refs THE SAME WAY Draymond did today. I can post some plays like that if you don’t understand what I talkin’ about.

CU.LIONSParticipantWell I will say this, if Green plays again the way he played tonight, the NBA might be doing GS a favor by suspending him.

Phenomenal1watch his post game interview he’s lying, his eyes are straight down or up, can’t look straight forward because he’s lying. his explanation is terrible, trying to make stuff up, clear liar.

gabriel_akvaParticipantRespect your opinion, but to me he’s just tryin’ to sell the call, as many players do all day.
Many players kick legs up to sell the call to the refs. It’s my opinion (know the negs are coming lol)

Phenomenal1yes they do, but their legs aren’t right below another dudes nutsack, nor do they kick with that much velocity. he kicks his legs up after the follow throug. at best he lost his cool and just kicked Adams out of frustration, but he kicked his leg up with anger and intent.

Hype MachineI think NBA players take advantage of Steven Adams chilled out nature. He plays hard, but never retaliates when other guys take shots at him, which is always.
For all the trash talk I say about Kiwis, the one thing they are pretty good at is getting hammered without retaliating. It’s almost like they enjoy getting bashed.
Since Steven is the youngest of 18 kids, and the average size of his brothers is 6’9"….its probably safe to suggest that he’s taken a few more beatings growing up than the average 7 foot giant. Even his older sister is the Olympic shot-put gold medalist, so even shes probably given him a few ass-whoopings.

SamO97ParticipantAfter suspending Dahntay Jones, I think they have no choice but to suspend Green. There’s no way to defend this is as unintentional. Draymond’s lowblow was even more blatant than Dahntay’s.

omphalosParticipantThis will be a well-deserved suspension and wouldn’t be unfair for Golden State at all. They shimmied their way through the regular season thinking they were the best of all time, with Draymond mugging people and pounding his chest along the way.
I get that he’s undersized so he needs to hustle, but the dude plays with a level of physicality that no 7-footed would get away with.
Suspend Draymond, he deserves it for not keeping his cool on the biggest stage.

llperezi say no suspension. if you are gonna suspend someone for a pivotal playoff game, you have to be certain what they did was excessive or intentional. Guys kick their legs and throw their arms up when they are getting stripped or there’s contact on a dirve all the time. It just so happens draymond did it while steve’s nuts were lined up. Im not saying draymond didnt do it on purpose, he very well might have. But you dont suspend a guy in the western conference finals for "might have". And trust me, im pulling for the thunder here.

SmooveKRYPTParticipantThey wasted no time suspending Dahntay Jones for a shot to the groin that honestly wasn’t as hard as this one. There shouldn’t be a double standard because he’s an end of the bench guy and Green is a key piece on his team…but I believe there will. I don’t think anyone in the NBA office has the balls *pun intended* to suspend him with GS trailing in the conference finals after just breaking the wins record.
I’m pretty sure what they’ll do is "upgrade" it to a flagrant 2 so he gets the higher fine and say the refs should have ejected him from game 3, but not actually suspend him for game 4.
I hope I’m wrong because that was deserving of a suspension, but I don’t see it happening.

Dazzling Dunks and Basketball BloopersParticipantAs a fan, I don’t want to see him suspended because this will be a pivotal game and you want to see both teams at full strength. However, I don’t think that the NBA has a choice. They just suspended dahntay Jones for an even less blatant low blow, and if they don’t give green the same penalty the backlash will be enormous.
Im not going to overreact off of last night’s performance because golden state is still more than capable of winning this series. However, they definitely have a big problem defending this thunder team, especially in transition. I never thought I would say this because it seems to run counter to what makes them successful, but to win this series golden state needs to slow the pace down, take smarter shots and outexecute okc in the half court. The quick transition shots are just igniting the fast break for okc. I have never seen this team appear to be so rattled and off their game.

joe2324Participantif you lose Draymond for a game, your pretty much down 3-1 and I doubt they can come back from this adversaity. This team has never felt any adversity all season now with their backs against the wall, I think they’re finished if Draymond is out a game.

HitsterParticipantSteve Adams may be a chilled out guy but he is one person I would not want to cross given his size and the size literally and physically of his family. I’m sure he could have turned nasty if he wanted to and made Draymond Green see yellow.

OaktownWarriorsParticipantThis 2016 NBA playoffs haven’t been a good one for the refs…overall. All the different series that I have been watching, the refs have been making really bad calls. I know many fouls can be called either way, but the no calls, the traveling, getting hit across the head and no foul (remember Livingston’s no call)? This off season, the NBA needs to really look into what they want to do about ref’s, maybe add another?

Memphis MadnessParticipantALREADY looking forward to next year’s rematch.
Steven Adams is doing some sneaky Bill Walton type stuff.
Good agility, footwork, fundamentals, hair… other stuff.
This WCF is like Superman vs. Kryptonite.

MatosParticipantHell yea Draymond should get suspended. They won’t though because the Warriors are comprised of players who are "great guys" with "morals" and are "humble". Yea I see through it. I’m a huge Klay Thompson fan but these guys arent the humble guys everyone makes them out to be. And Steven Adams aint no saint either. Dude has been known to mix it up and play dirty. Maybe not to this extent but come on, lets not forget what he did to Demarcus Cousins.

nill650Participantcheap shot… suspend him and bail out the rest of the team for getting the asses kicked, because as it stands right now those who think he is the reason for their success all season will look like they are right when he is gone, but the truth is he is just a cog in the wheel and I would’nt be surprised if GSW does’nt win another game with or without him playing.

BiggysmallsParticipantI didn’t play basketball at a super highly competitive level, but I’ve taken a lot of shots after a lot of drives, and I’ve never come close to kicking a guy in the nuts.
If you are going to make contact with a dude’s nuts, you’d think it would be his knee if he were making anything close to a basketball move.
I doubt it was predetermined that he thought before the game he was going to try to take a cheap shot, but in the moment, it was a dirty play and if they suspended Jones for something the previous day, Green should get suspended.
In a vaccum, that is a suspension worthy play. If you are in the league office making the decision, you have to block out all the "Western Conference Finals" and "Star player" noise. That stuff does, but shouldn’t matter in this case. If the league takes itself seriously, this is an easy decision.
Of course not suspending him would probably boost ratings even more, so it would be smart from a business perspective to not suspend him.
