Tough times in Phoenix right now. We knew they were going to be bad, but three games in, they lost by an average of 30.7 PPG, Bledsoe tweeted he wants out, and Watson is out as coach.

So my question to you guys, how would you fix what’s going on there? Who would you trade Bledsoe for and who would bring in as head coach?

Need to fire the GM as well..they’ve been too conservative with their assets, need to make some trades. Should of been trying to trade Bledsoe.

Need to get a new owner.  Robert Sarver is the main problem.  After the new owner comes in, they need a strong GM to make sure that the owner doesn’t meddle and f&ck things up.

Trade Bledsoe for draft picks . Rebuild around Booker and Josh Jackson. Bender and Chris are young also. No immediate fix going to be a long rebuild.

I don’t know why it’s automatic that you would trade Bledsoe. What would they trade him for, more young prospects? They’ve already got Booker, Warren, Chriss, Bender, Len, Ulis, Jackson … and Bledsoe’s not really taking minutes from them because Ulis is the only othe PG on the roster. Plus, Bledsoe’s only 27 … if he’s still healthy he’ll still be in his prime three years from now when the young guys are hitting their stride.

I would definitely trade Chandler if I were Phoenix, to free up minutes for their young bigs and because Chandler is still a difference-maker for a contender.

As a Phoenix fan, I would love Sarver to sell up, his cost cutting in the Nash/Marion/STAT erta probably cost them a title IMO.

Eric Bledsoe is a good player but there is a lot of PG depth in the NBA at the moment and if you factor in Bledsoe’s durability issues across his career then his trade value won’t be as high as some would think.

Tyson Chandler issue is an interestimng ones, we say that good vets should be on a relevant team but often also say a rebuilding team needs some veterans for the younger guys to learn from and Tyson has alwayse been seen as a good locker room presence plus he likes it in Phoenix. Len could move on next summer too, Bender is a work in progress. Say we happened to draft Ayrton or Bamba next summer, having Tyson as a mentor would be a good thing IMO.

As regards the next coach, I’d honestly look for someone who would be considered a good "improver" of young players. Do they go for an up and coming college coach, or a good NBA number 2 looking for a top job. Dan Majerle was on the Phoenix coaching and playing staff for 12 years combined and has done well at Grand Canyon. Might they look at David Blatt who really did nothing wrong at the Cavs and has a fine internatiional record. Big Patrick Ewing has a highly regarded NBA assistant and associate coach plus a proven developer of big men but he recently took Georgetown Hoyas job so I don’t think he’d leave his old university.

Maybe do what Boston did when Doc moved on and Ainge hired the best young college coach in Brad Stevens or if they did purge the FO, reach out to Cal or Jay Wright and offer them overall control.

lol, They need another player from this draft. Jackson can’t be that go to guy IMO, and Booker is too loose defensively. They need another player from this draft and commit to rebuilding. This draft boasts MPJ doncic Bagley Ayton or Bamba.

Sam Hinkie did spring to mind but Phoenix have had 3 top 5 picks in the last 5 drafts, add in Chriss and Booker and you have some sort of young core to go forward with.

They have picks due from Miami, so should have draft firepower going forward.
