BeastMode716ParticipantRyan Archiedachekno & 1st round pick Dejounte Murray to Summer League should be Ironic
Archie-d is the consumate point guard but he lacks the talent to thrive at the NBA level & Dejounte Murray
who has Every measurable a Draft Geek could dream about Physically: Elite quickness, explosive leaping ability, attacks the Rim at will; legit 6’5” w/ crazy length
but D. Murray plays with wreckless abandon, can’t shoot from the perimeter, makes 3 bone-headed plays for every one spectacular play & although he has All the Raw Talent in the World – I could Never see him running a Professional NBA team as a Floor General – Not Any NBA team
& especially not the Spurs — who are the model of professionalism in the Sport. I realize Spurs are looking at Murray as a Long term project & perhaps San Antonio will have the last laugh (as usual)

Bankroll PJParticipantI don’t think it’s ironic, I think it’s on purpose. Ryan Articuno is a heady floor general and can relieve Murray of some of the point guard duties. They want to bring Murray along slowly, summer league included, and Murray has to size to play alongside Articuno as well.

OhCanada-ParticipantMurray was a bit reckless and took bad shots but I don’t think he qualifies as a guy I would call a bonehead. He played good basketball for Washington. The reason why he fell is because he is about 40 pounds lighter than the average person his height.
