Stat line of the day goes to Myles Turner.  Showed why Indiana are so eager to let Hibbert go with a 20pt, 8rb, 3blk performace.  8-11 shooting including 1-1 3pt and 3-3 from the line.

In the same game, Winslow absolutely dominated the game for the Heat.  With a +- score of +28, his 15pt, 3ast performance on 4-8 shooting, 1-3 from 3, 6-8 at the line, he defended and played multiple positions.  Showed exactly why everyone rated him the steal  of the draft at #10.

James Ennis also had a solid game for the Heat.  13pt, 7rb, 5ast, on 5-11 shooting.

Stanley Johnson opened up for the Pistons with a solid performance off the bench. Showed lots of grit with a 13pt, 4rb, 3ast, and a steal off 5-8 shooting, 1-2 from 3, 2-5 from the line.  Finished well with contact.  Played hard.

Keith Appling showed why I rated him highly last year with a 17pt, 4ast, 4stl performance.  9-10 at the line.  Looks to be a servicable 3rd PG to fill out a squad.  His statline needs to be taken with a grain of salt, he commited 8 fouls.

Orlando Blue is the team to watch at summer league!  Aaron Gordon with a monster 22pt, 18rb perfornace (8-18, 2-5 from 3, 4-10 at the line), and Elfrid Payton 7pt, 9ast, 5TO’s (horrible shooting), and Mario HEZONJA with 12 pts, 2-5 3pt off the bench, including the game winning 3 with 13 sec on the clock in OT.

Frank THE TANK Kaminsky had a good start to his life in Jordanland, with a 19pt, 12rb, 2st performance.  He was 7-19 from the field and 4-8 behind the arc.

Not much to write about in the final game, Grizzlies v Nets.  Jordan Adams did Adams like things with 20pts and 10-10 at the line, Hollis-Jefferson was off to a slow start, and Cliff Alexander failed to impress.

Arambone/ZeroDoubt, where you at?!? Your boy Andrew Harrison stunk the place up!  8pt, 3ast, 4 fouls, shooting 2-5 from the field, 1-1 from 3, 3-4 at the line in 25 min.  I was expecting him to drop 30/10/10 from the way you were riding him the last month.

Adonis Thomas the former top recruit coming out of high school did show case a sweet shooting touch and finished the game with 17 points for the Pistons. After spending last season in Grand Rapids I can see making a NBA roster again.

Harrison had 8 points off five shots. That’s classic Harrison efficiency you can expect. 100% from 3, what did you expect?

One of the steals of the draft, rock-steady production without the frills

Jordan Adams is likely taking all of Harrison’s shots, but Andrew doesn’t mind. He didn’t lead his team to two straight Final Fours by being a me-first leader.

Hezonja looked taller than Aaron Gordon, and he looks about 230 lbs as well. This guy is going to be a dominant stretch 4 in short order, as soon as this year.

Pump faked way too often and tried to be too creative in the first half.  He did that a lot in college, but he will need to learn to just let it fly more in the NBA.  In the 2nd half, he became much more decisive and stopped with the Mirotic-esque pump faking, actually getting somebody to bite on a fake after several consecutive makes.  He also showed off his great ballhandling and passing for a big man.  Looked like the best player on the court in his game – over Mitch McGary, PJ Hairston and Aaron Harrison, who kept driving int no-man’s land.

Grizzlies get the same quality player in the second round as they do in the first round.

I like Andrew Harrison.  Hopefully he does what he is supposed to.  Didn’t watch the game though. Jordan Adams got to the line but didn’t shoot well from the field.  Griz need shooters…

I like what Orlando is doing.  Sounds like a really fun team on paper.

Overall, I think it will be an entertaining draft class.

So T-rex is arambone/zerodoubt aka "I have to create a new account every month because I get negged so hard".

Other than that, the first round pickslooked solid,Kaminsky started very slow but then showed the range, and if you’re a Charlotte fan that’s all you need to see. Turner,y’all have already said enough,Winslow played his game, didn’t force anything. Stanley Johnson was benched I heard to "show him what it is to work up here",but he responded well.

I love the Memphis team, the guys that may be in the roster newt year are pretty good. I hope Jordan Adams gets playing time next year, with Memphis needing scoring/shooting. Love Jarnell Stokes as a backup as well, and we’ll see if they want to give Russ Smith a chance.

The Orlando team was fun to watch,Payton actually made jump shots at the end, with better arc on his jumper. Hezonja is a stud,Gordon seems on his way to becoming a better offensive player. That looks like a hard-working team,Skiles should be pleased.

but it’s extremely hard for me to agree that he will have a great NBA season (or even be a starter in this league).   He doesn’t contend the basket at all and when he puts the ball on the floor he just fades away.  Unless he’s going to Dirk’s home every off season to perfect that, I don’t see how he can be consistent going against NBA starters on a day to day basis.  Hornets picked a Ryan Anderson IMO.

I missed Myle’s game, but I wasn’t a big fan of his in college.  That limp bothered me too..  I’ll check out the next game though.

I only watched one game Indy v Miami. Myles was real good. He did have 5 fouls while still in the 2nd quarter but the shooting touch he showed was pretty impressive.

Winslow was real solid like you’d expect and Josh Richardson was also pretty good (had a purple patch with about 8 points and a couple steals in a period of a few minutes.

Another who impressed me was Willie Reed. Seems like a high energy big man who could possibly make a roster as a 15th man and step up and defend and rebound if needed.

Tyler Johnson who played with the heat this past season continues to impress me. he’s super athletic and and very gritty, he’s playing like a true point now too, heat fans got a glimpse of his potential last year, I hope e cements himself in their rotation.

adonis Thomas’ jump shot looked great, which was the only thing holding him back. He coulda just had a great day so I will hold on off on professing his NBA legitimacy until I get s larger sample size. He looked comfy out there even when he had the ball. He made smart plays, played within himself and was great for his team.

Hezonjah, to me, has more potential than just about anybody that played on day 1. It almost looked like they were trying to play keep away from him, but that didn’t stop him from producing and ultimately winning the game. His athleticism is top notch and he showed great hussle. I think they’re going to love him in Orlando.

PJ Hairston looks like he weighs about 240 right now. Apparently he’s been hittin the weight room and it shows. He still looks like he’s carrying some baby fat though. if he shed that, I think he’d jump higher and be faster. played well and did all the things we come to expect.

nate wolters is a very good all around player and has great size for his position. He isn’t the greatest athlete but he is a decent one. He can score from every level and has an arsenal of floaters and flip shots. Idk how he has been so undervalued his whole career. Hes played great so far through one and a half summer league games and I believe he will be on a roster for the entirety of this coming season. He has easily been the best point guard so far in the summer league.
