Honestly Im not being biased just because im a raptors fan, but everyone knows DeMar brought it on a whole new different level last night. Especially that ‘showstopper’ dunk of his, couldnt get over thinking how incredible that was the entire night. I know he was in last year’s competition as well as this year’s, but c’mon David Stern, he’s got to be in next year’s!? He’s had arguably the best dunk in this years contest (showstopper) and last year’s (windmill off the side of the backboard). I will be extreeeemely disappointed if he’s not accepted into next years. So whos with me?

ps special mention to Ibaka who shouldve made it into the finals too on the first dunk alone. Too much hype for Blake that it wasn’t even a contest. Not saying he was bad, but nobody doubted that he would win. In LA? c’mon son.

I agree. Derozan had a better first round then Griffin. Demar’s 1st duck was nice, and the "Show Stopper" was CRAZY! Griffin’s first dunk was good, but his second dunk shouldn’t have gotten him enough points to reach the final round.

Maybe if Demar brought out a choir, or a stuffed teddy bear, or his mom whored herself out to the judges then maybe he would of gotten a better score. He definitely deserved to be in the finals.

    Thats my un-biased opinion lol.

I did love that dunk and if this was a dunk contest based on pure dunking ability Demar would win but it was about entertainment first and foremost and nobody was more entertaining last night then Blake and McGee.

DDR killed himself too by first posting the dunk on NBA.com and nailing it without effort with Justin Darlington knowing how to throw the lob, then having Amir Johnson trying to lob it and he he had no touch.  I dunno why he had Johnson doing the passing they must of been practicing together but Amir was obviously not ready to make it on that stage.

McGee’s duel rim dunk was one of the greatest dunks ever and in the whole NBA probably only Howard and Ibaka even have a shot at pulling that off.

And Griffin sealed the win by not missing in the final round and getting the crowd so hype and not disapointing.  Regardless of the difficulty of the over the car dunk the execution was nearly flawless like think about it, Baron thru and oops out the sun roof before Griffin even left the ground and he just exploded and hammered it down.  I heard afterwards Baron thru the lob too low cuz Griffin was suppose to windmill it too but he caught it too low.

Overall last night’s dunk contest i thought was amazing I wish their were more dunkers or dunks from the dunkers.

Did anybody see what Griffin was trying to do at first on his second dunk?  If he would of completed that it would of been insane.  I also loved, and imagined he got points for going up and trying a different dunk almost off every lob before finally settling on that one so when it came it was authoritative and surprising.

McGee could of won this tho.  All he had to do was after Blake brought the car out was bring the other net back and put it at 13 foot and dunked it which he can reach.

Its the fact that Demar got it on his first try that made it so cool
