IndianaBasketballParticipantI’ve been critical of young Austin… Gotta give him props. He kicked ass tonight. He’s confident. Finishing well around rim. I love the way he’s attacking off of dribble… He’s gotten better.

Jr. ROXASParticipantDoc gotta be proud o his son though. And CP should be relieved he finally got a reliable backup again. They really missed that, bing the services of Daren Collison and earlieer Eric Bledsoe.

WetalkinboutpracticeParticipantActually think he’s performed the best of all the remaining backup PG’s in round two, save for Schröder, which is surprising to say the least. Good for him, and it’s nice to see him put together a decent stretch of good games especially considering he hasn’t been much since being the 10th pick in 2012 & the semi spotlight that’s on him now playing for his Pops on a good team in LA.

HitsterParticipantGreat mock up photos, don’t imagine Austin Rivers drinking cold ones and giving out stunners though!
Good to see Austin finding his niche in the NBA, he’d looked useful as a back up at NOH/NOP but now working with his Dad and having CP3 to learn from he can hopefully push on and have a good NBA career.

NickWayne87ParticipantHe’s ALWAYS had the talent, the talent was always there. That crossover and first step has ALWAYS been big time…..he could always get his own shot. The only difference now is he’s more confident and not scared and he’s making them. I never gave up on him…..if he keeps hitting that weight room he consistently have nights like he had last night…

JoeWolf1He was fun to watch last night. Rivers had it going on, he was scoring in about every way possible.
People were really hard on his first couple seasons, but he’s still only 22 years old, and had he stayed in school, until his senior season, this would be his draft class. Rivers still has time to become a meaningful player in the league…he certainly was last night.

Magic JordanParticipantThe only Stunner Austin Rivers is giving is providing a decent game. One game doesn’t make a failure, nor does one game make you successful. A little perspective here.
I also wouldn’t mind seeing him suck longer as there are few things in the world I hate more than Nepotism. But the Clippers are one of them.

llperezi was actually thinking about creating a thread on here about 2 months ago saying how much he sucked and i couldnt understand why doc rivers wasnt criticized for playing his son 20 minutes a night when he wasnt any good. But he has obviously been playing real well as of late. Jury still out on him but gotta give respect when its due and its not just about last night, he has shown me more throughout the playoffs.

Meditated StatesParticipantKid has a lot of talent and he is young. I was hoping the Celtics kept him but they were stocked at the position. Not surprised at all by Austin.
