Where does he/should he go??? I’ve heard rumors TOR is interested. There’s the Canada connection, but Nash probably wants a ring in a place where he still does some damage,so that’s doubtful. I would have said the Knicks if it were Antoni’s system, but it’s not and they’ve already named their PG for next year and have a good coach in Woodson anyways. DAL is going after Deron. Would he go to MIA? Or his old enemy the Lakers? or ATL? They all don’t seem like the type of cities for Nash… What else is out there for Nash? OKC??? Wouldn’t play as much minutes which may be ok… I think he’s got a couple years in him still… just don’t have a clue where.

I’ll say Dallas, more of a hunch than anything at this moment

Of all the teams named and winning’s the most important factor…. Miami. Anywhere else he can’t win a ring or there’s a young PG already in play…

It would be a stupid move for him to go Heat.  Heat look best whent the ball is in Lebrons hands and he getting them 7-8 assits a game in that PG role. They need to adresss there massive hole in the big men department and size problem first.

is lebron better averging more dimes? how many titles has he won with that mentality?

when he has a scoring mentality what hapens. legendary games like game 6 at boston.

let lebron worry about defens scoring rebounds and let someone else worry about getting everyone else involved. bring in a pass first pg with lebron for the first time in lbjs career and he might win his first ring if he doesnt this year.

Nash can be used in so many ways in Miami.  a spot up knock down shooter who is capable of running a flawless pick and roll

I would like to see him go to the Thunder.  He can start at point guard and then they can move Westbrook over to two guard.

They could then go small with Nash, Westbrook, Harden, Durant, and Ibaka.  That would be fun to watch!

If I were the Thunder I would experiment with Westbrook as a shooting guard more.  If they brought in Nash that would be the best case scenario.  Either Nash could start at point with Westbrook at the 2 or they continue to start Westbrook for size and speed (with Thabo Sefolosha at the 2), and then bring in Steve Nash for either backcourt player.

With Nash they could run their offense through three guys: Nash, Westbrook, and Harden.

This would be an ideal team for Steve Nash.  And they would still have the defender in Thabo Sefolosha and a shooter in Cook, plus Kendrick Perkins and Nick Collison up front.  Plus, whoever they draft.

Other than that, Miami would be a good fit even though LeBron and Wade are ball dominant.  It would help LeBron if he played off the ball more so he could conserve his energy for defense.  I think Nash could really set those guys up well.  He would also make Bosh look even better.  The Heat would still have Mario Chalmers so it’s not like Nash would have to play 40 minutes a night.  If they could draft a center then that team would really be set.

I don’t really see any other teams contending besides OKC and Miami. Going back to Dallas would be a neat story but I still don’t think that they would have enough.  Dirk, Nash, Terry, and Marion with Vince Carter would be very solid though.

If the Lakers could get Steve Nash then I think they could contend.  He and Kobe would form a fierce backcourt with two good bigs up front in Andrew Bynum and Pau Gasol.  Plus, Metta and whatever he plans to bring to the table next year.  If Nash wants maximum drama and great weather then he should go to the Lakers.

The best fit for him though would be Oklahoma City.  Especially if Westbrook would agree to play the shooting guard spot.  They would give him his best chance to win a ring.  Plus they have some great young athletes who love to run.  Nash could pile up the assists and then be the third or fourth option on offense which should give him some great looks.

i think Dallas might be the place he could end up on if they strike out on Deron Williams. as mentioned, the two teams in the finals are also contenders for his services in Miami and OKC. and despite all the possibilities i think Phoenix has an equal if not better chance in signing him for next season. he has already stated that he likes it there and has deep gratitude and appreciation for the city, organization, fans and trainers. i dont think Nash will be in a rush to sign a new deal in the off-season, unlike Deron Williams.

he’ll most likely see how things will play-out in the off-season and sign after he knows how teams will look like next year. i believe he’s very interested on how the suns will be spending their cap space, that will be a factor in his decision making.
