Stephon Marbury won his third championship in the Chinese Basketball Association with the Beijing Ducks and was awarded the 2015 CBA Finals MVP.

Marbury knocked off Liaoning 106-98 behind 24 points, seven assists, five rebounds and four steals.

“I said I wanted to build a dynasty in Beijing,” Marbury told reporters in the locker room after the game. “People called me crazy… I’m just thankful and I’m humble.”

    18 PPG, 3.5 RPG, 6 APG

Pretty impressive stats for a 38 year old, even if it’s in the Chinese League. I had no idea he was still playing that good. Congrats to him.

Pretty remarkable that a guy known to be a bad teammate, giving not 100% every night, has turned himself into the best player in Chinese basketball by hard work, trusting his teammates and sheer will. If only he could have had the same drive when playing in the NBA a few years ago, he could have remained a star in the league for a long, long time as well. Good for him though, having succes on the court (championship) and off the court (Starbury sports goods).
