Classy NBA fan demonstrates sportsmanship by flipping off rival player
Here’s how one spectator reacted when Bulls center Joakim Noah was ejected in the fourth quarter of the Chicago Bulls vs. Miami Heat game at AmericanAirlines Arena, Fla., on Wednesday night. You stay classy, lady! The man in white behind her tries his best, but even his almighty sneer can’t match the passionate intensity of hers. The bird-flipping woman was presumably pleased with the game’s result: It was the biggest postseason win in Miami Heat history, and the biggest postseason loss in Chicago Bulls history.

Miami white trash at it’s finest.

torontoraptors10Participant“The Miami Heat fan who gave the one-finger salute to Chicago Bulls center Joakim Noah has a message to the world of Internet trolls: Get a life. The woman whose one-finger salute has become an Internet sensation overnight is Filomena Tobias, the widow of former CNBC commentator and financial wizard Seth Tobias, said Filomena Tobias’ daughter, Victoria Racanati, when reached by phone by the Sun Sentinel. “She’s embarrassed, but she is being a good sport,” the daughter told the Sun Sentinel on Thursday. “She was having fun just like any other fan. All she has to say is that people need to get a life.” South Florida Sun-Sentinel

cuseflynn10ParticipantIt’s crazy how a Miami Heat fan can be that obnoxious to a Florida Gator. Even though Gainesville is like 5 hours from Miami, I’m guessing a lot of Gator fans are Heat fans as well. You’d think he’d be the one guy they would at least show some respect to for bringing two NCAA championships to their home state, but I guess all bets are off when it comes to the NBA playoffs.

CynthiaParticipantIt’s called a bandwagon fan, before LeBron came to town she probably never watched basketball in her life, thus wouldn’t even know who Noah was or that he went to college at Florida.

And now for the real test:

BasterdInABasketParticipantIt seems like a lot of Heat fans (those two in the particular) wouldn’t have any idea where Noah went to school at all and probably aren’t basketball fans at all. Right now going to Heat games is just thing to be seen doing.
I’ve never been to Miami, it looks like a pretty sweet place to go but I think the people that live there would drive me nuts.0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/09/2013 - 5:12am #771205

doubledribblerParticipantFans like this need to be permanently banned from NBA events. It’s one thing to maybe talk a little trash, but getting in somebody’s face like that is cause for getting your a** kicked. The thing that gets me is that aren’t these the same type of people that are always showing up late to home games? You have the defending champions, still one of the best teams in the league and the league’s best player and you are “too cool” to show up to games on time to support the home team. Yet you are passionate enough to get in somebody’s face that you know can’t hit you back without losing millions, destroying their reputation and you likely suing them for brain damage that was already there. Of course the punk is guarded well by both security and his woman, so he’s not worried if anyone swings at him.

baggin13ParticipantI was watching the game and notcied the guy in the picture yelling at Taj Gibson when he got tossed and was hoping people would notice how big of a douche he looked doing that. After Taj walked past, the fan finished yelling and turned back around so he was facing the camera and had a smile on his face and a look of satisfaction (like he was a “real fan” now, or some kind of ‘bad ass”).
Hilarious

220ParticipantAs a Heat fan from the days they acquired Alonzo Mourning its certainly annoying having to deal with Big Three Heat bandwagon fans. As an earlier post said no bandwagon fan could name former heat player Terrell Harris in the picture and they likely have little clue who Mario Chalmers, Udonis Harlem, Shane Battier, and really any other Heat players outside the Big Three and maybe Ray Allen.
Unfortunately it seems to be the nature of many fans to jump from best team to best team without any shred of dignity.

Moon RiverParticipantHas a MAJOR history. She was married three times and her most recent husband met an untimely demise while apparently being drugged and was found floating in his pool. She was questioned and apparentlty not found culpable but she did inherit $300 Million from him and obviously nice Heat seats.

CAROLINA BLUE NICKParticipantSome of these fans do outlandish stuff. And the majority of Miami Heat Fans are Bandwagoners. I understand being a fan of a player. But don’t act like you been riding with the Heat since the Glen Rice and Steve Smith days. I remember before Lebron got their they were the 27th most popular team in the NBA based off of Twitter and Facebook fans. So I do agree the majority of Miami Heat fans are douches and just joining the hype. I remember Charles Barkley saying when he becomes commissioner of the NBA that he will allow each NBA player one time a year to go up to the stands and whoop a fans ass lol. I would love to see that with the way some of these fans act.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantOh c’mon.
We’ve seen this is every arena. Just because Heat fans get all of this flack doesn’t mean only Miami fans do this. You guys are being ridiculous. I’ve seen this in the Staples Center, MSG, TD Bank Garden, hell even right in Chicago towards LeBron James.
Anybody remember the FUK/LBJ shirt? Everyone was laughing but as soon as a Miami fan cusses, it’s a big deal?
C’mon guys.

GottaBeTheShoesParticipantArtest would’ve never went into the stands had a fan not decided to throw something at him, not sure why I pointed this out but just an example of how stupid fans can be. Its funny how fans don’t mind being racist, destructive, offensive etc to the other teams players on the court. These fans don’t understand the game of basketball and are just rich enough to get a close seat(there are some good fans up close of course). I remember being at a Jazz-Nuggets game where the entire place was chanting “melo sucks” like what the hell did he do? (he actually schooled the Jazz playing center most of the game and getting something like 34 and 15) I always hear that NBA players get an incredible amount of heckling from the stands. It’s ridiculous.

llperezHoly overreaction batman. I’m not defending flipping players off, but this type of stuff goes on all the time, anyone ever been to a football game? A much bigger issue then cursing at a player is when fans get personal with family stuff like the jazz fan that teased Derek fisher about his daughter going blind. Giving the bird to a player has probably happened a million times in NBA games over the decades. And torontoraptors 10, why do feel the need to keep repeating that she’s white? What does skin color have to do with this?

Ghost01ParticipantI think most people realize the reason people are talking about this is because Miami doesn’t exactly have the reputation as a “good sports city”, when something like this happens its easy to pick on thier own fan base, because its so weak.
