joshsm12ParticipantIf you were to start a franchise today who would be your starting five, with a stipulation of they all still have to be under their rookie deals…..
Mine
Pg- Kyrie Irving
Sg- Klay Thompson
Sf- Paul George
Pf – Anthony Davis
C – Demarcus CousinsFirst two off the bench

Memphis MadnessParticipantCousins would throw a fit and kill team chemistry.
This team might work better:
PG Kyrie Irving
SG Klay Thompson
SF Paul George
PF Anthony Davis
C Andre DrummondBench
SF Kawhi Leonard
PF Kenneth Faried0 - Posted on: Fri, 08/23/2013 - 1:06pm #836255

BloodFoLyfePG Irving
SG Paul George
SF Barnes
PF Demarcus
C Nikola2 off the bench
F Tobias Harris
F-C MonroeI feel as tho the sg position is full of ppl who can score. So I rather bring a person who offers other things then scoring and shooting. The back up pg is a position of fit some teams need pass first some teams need scoring some teams need 3 point shooting some need defense .
Tobias and Monroe off the bench is insane just plug in a back up pg and sg their a dime a dozen in this league but 2 quality forwards 1 who can play the 3 and 4 and another who can play the 4 and 5 and give you starter per is rare.0 - Posted on: Fri, 08/23/2013 - 3:53pm #836301

JoeWolf1PG- Kyrie Irving
SG – Iman Shumpert
SF – Jimmy Butler
PF – Anthony Davis
C – Andre DrummondBench
G/F -Jeff Taylor
F – Markieff MorrisDefense and the ability to spread the floor to allow post guys to operate is how I like to play. Davis and Drummond give me an incredibly young and incredibly formidable front court and Shumpert, Butler and Taylor ( off the bench give me big athletic wing defenders ). Kyrie is that #1 takeover scoring punch needed to win late games, Anthony Davis and his budding offensive game provide a great #2 option, Butler is my 3rd option ( 14.5 ppg 7.1 rpg 45/45/76 as a starter last year ) Drummond being an oop target gets me 11 or 12 on garbage bucks and fast breaks, and Shumpert is a nice glue guy who shot 40% from 3 last season ( perfect 3 and D piece).
Jeff Taylor comes off my bench playing SG and SF and gives me a 2nd unit defender and hopefully a guy who can fill it up in the mid-2nd quarter when I’m resting a starter or two. Morris gives me another solid guy who’s rugged, playsPF and C and can open up the lane out to 25 feet if I want to play Davis at the 5 in spurts.
The kicker is…..I actually have a chance to re-sign them!!!!!

j1232eParticipantPG Trey Burke
*SG Alec Burks*
SF Gordan Hayward
PF Derrick Favors
C Enes KanterHey look the Utah Jazz future is blinding bright.
*SG Andrew Wiggins, or Jabari Parker.*
The Jazz will most likely have a top three pick in 2014. Possibly #1 I also like that Australlian Guard with this Jazz lineup.Alec Burks a 6th man Utah Jazz future is shinning with potential. I will watch every Jazz game this season to watch the development, Will be like OKC in a few seasons, hopefully they wont have to trade off a allstar like OKC did with Harden.
Also the Jazz hold an unprotected 2014 draft pick from Golden State, all it takes is a Curry rolled ankle and the Warriors are lottery bound. Utah will save all that cap room to sign these players from there rookie contracts to a competitive NBA roster based on not many star athletes will come to Salt Lake City, The Jazz will not make the mistake OKC did in trading Jeff Green for an overpriced player like Kendrick Perkins. That is where OKC did wrong. The Jazz new GM Dennis Lindsey will preach patience with this young crop of players and not let them test the free agent market.
Then again one of the potential stars may turn stubborn like a Deron Williams and ruin the whole plan. I hope players like Deron Williams don’t come along to these small franchises and force a trade before the plan can come in full affect.
