Throw in the 2018 Thunder 1st round pick + 2018 Cavs 1st round pick to the Knicks.

 

Thunder get a 3rd star that can rebound, outlet the fast break, and open driving lanes and still have Steven Adams at C

Knicks get a very good young compliment to Godzingas as well as depth, shooting and a couple late picks

Cavs give up a lot but get 2 of the best players in the world to go alongside the best player in the world

Pelicans definitely don’t want to trade Davis but if you were ever going to; getting Kyrie and Tristan locked into a 3 year contract + maybe a future pick from the Cavs would be pretty dope, especially if you’re not sure the Davis/Cousins duo is gonna work out

Not a bad trade overall. I don’t think the Knicks would take on a redudant player in Kanter. They would try everything to get an Irving for themselves. If you put Phoenix in there and gave up Bledsoe I may see that part of it happening. As far as the Pelis getting rid of Davis that will NEVER happen. I don’t think they would take LBJ + 1st rounder straight up for Davis. Much higher chance of it being Cousins going to the Cavs.

 You’d have to swap Cousins for AD. No way they trade AD over Cousins unless he signs an extension before the trade. Awful trade for Knicks too they take on a lot of cash. Cavs also shed a lot of cash almost 11 mil and they get the best player. Remind me of cp3 deal that got rejected.

 AD is worth more than what NO is getting, so I don’t like this at all.  I agree that trading Cousins would be a better idea, AD better than Cousins..
