FastAndFuriousParticipantAnthony "Cat" Barber
Don’t be suprised if this guy shoots up this year’s draft boards after conference play, and without a doubt next year he will get some buzz, he’s getting better and better damn near each game and is possibly the fastest/quickest guard in the country(Jahii Carson may have something to say about this)
Remember you heard it hear first.

RUDEBOY_ParticipantHe should stick around another 2 or 3 years. He has alot to work on,including gaining strength, improving shooting mechanics and his playmaking ..He reminds me a little of former Illinois guard Dee Brown…

FastAndFuriousParticipantI don’t think he’s a 4 year guy, Cat(6’2) has a size advantage over Brown(5’11) and while Brown was no slouch in the athleticism department, Cat is arguably the quickest and fastest guard in America at the college level. Cat can use some strength development but he looks to have one of those body types, that no matter how much he works out he will always be thin(Ala Brandon Jennings)
Another thing going for Cat is he’s a true PG, Brown wasn’t a pure PG and didn’t play PG until his senior year at Illinois, only because he was the teams best ball-handler.
Cat is so smooth and suprisingly under control when at full speed, his ability to create seperation from his defender when trying to score sets him apart from alot of guys, and he doesn’t turn the ball over as much as you would expect a freshman to(1.8 TO per), he’s not getting alot of attention right now, but it will come, and if not this year def next year.

Lotto StudParticipantI’ve been aboard the local wagon. His best game thus far was against ECU where he had 16pts 8ast 1TO

Lotto StudParticipantAnother thing to add too is that Cat can thank the big 7-footer Vandenberg for being on the receiving end of those passes.
