dmo21ParticipantI’m trying to do this vote thing for every position (already did one on point guards), so let’s try shooting guards now.
So who is the best shooting guard at…..
Passing?
Mid range?
3point shooting?
Dunking?
Ball handling?
On ball defense?
Shot blocker?
Quickest?
Fastest?
Strongest?
Back up?
Breakout(for next year)?

river09ParticipantPassing? Didn’t realize SG’s passed… But if I have to I’ll go with Joe Johnson, he has consistently played smart and made the correct pass throughout his career..
Mid range? Kobe… Not even a question.. It’s so polished.. Only Dirk is close to or as deadly as Kobe mid-range..
3point shooting? Ray Allen.. Unbelievable season he had shooting the ball this year.. 45.3% 3p to lead the league at 36-37 years old..
Dunking? Demarr Derozan.. He can sky when he needs to.
Ball handling? Monta Ellis.. The ultimate undersized SG, his ball handling gets him anywhere he wants to be on the court..
On ball defense? Paul George (?) I wrestled with this one.. SG’s don’t play defense… but if they do, being 6’9” with an insane wingspan doesn’t hurt..
Shot blocker? Literally just went to ESPN and checked which SG had the most blocks last season.. And the winner was Dwayne Wade… So he’s the best?
Quickest? Monta Ellis.. Same as his ball handling, he’s almost impossible to stay in front of..
Fastest? Nick Young.. In a straight line he has always seemed a touch faster than everyone to me..
Strongest? Wes Matthews/James Harden.. Bulkier guys that are really solidly built and can really take contact going to the rim..
Back up? Jamal Crawford.. A ball dependent SG but has proven again and again that he can score whenever he wants.. Not sure if you can call him a backup though..

FastAndFuriousParticipantBest passing SG Joe Johnson??? LOL Joe Johnson dribbles the shot clock down to about 5 seconds before he makes a decision, if he passes it the person only has about 3 seconds left to make a play, def not the best SG passer in the L.
I’d agree with Manu tho.

IndianaBasketballParticipantYea, Johnson will have to revert back to the way he played back with the Suns to make things work with Deron Williams… He wasn’t always so ball dominant.

FastAndFuriousParticipantIDK what position most people list Gerald Green at but if he is a SG he is the best dunker in the NBA at that position.
