JNixonParticipantHe is a great athlete, long, lean, and explosive. He isnt a true post scorer and he has only 1 or 2 moves, but he is like 6’10 with 3-point shooting ability. Obviously looking at his height and athleticism he is a shot blocker, but he is raw overall. Offensively and defensively. I dont know if he will make it to the Thunder, but he could make it if they need depth at the 4, which they could stand to use.

dsickich123ParticipantThe thunder have him signed for two more years…
so it is either he comes over this year, or the next….
He will come over…
I do not think he is that raw…
He is defiantly going to be in the NBA…
He is just what the Thunder need….
Great Rebounder…very athletic….
(won the slam dunk contest in Europe)
He is also the leading scorer (and star) on his team so I am not sure how you can call him raw…
Has a chance to be something special at his age….0 - Posted on: Tue, 06/30/2009 - 5:07am #173191
JNixonParticipantJust because you led your team in scoring doesnt mean your not raw. I mean Jordan Hill led Arizona in scoring and he is raw. Its not like Ibaka averaged 20 ppg, he averaged like 7 ppg. Trust me, he is raw.

Rubio is a beastParticipantHere is a reason he would get playing time. Right now, your either going for a championship, are you arent. There is a pretty big drop off from the Spurs, Cavs, Magic, Celtics, and Lakers between the rest of the teams in the league, with only Denver close. I believe the 5 teams listed above will have 10 more wins that any team except Denver. You need to be in it or prepare for the future

Da1potParticipantIbaka is still kind of raw by post player standards(limited post moves, etc) but he is still very good an I feel he could immediatly make an impact on the Thunder. He has an enormous amount of potential and i wonder what the Thunder will do with him in terms of development. I feel he could even play the three some in time and I think once he is fully developed he could be a baby Josh Smith.

PabloCParticipantHi From Argentina, i watched several games of Serge in Liga ACB, and is a force inside, he rebound like hell and he´s strong and athletic, in youtube you can watch the slam dunk contest of ACB spain (all-star weekend), he won after make a slam from the FT Line (really good for 6´10 235 lbs guy) . He can shot from ´6 metres really well and if he practice a lot he can made de 3´ in the nba, if he could play really well in summer league he can win a spot in okc. greeting for Argentina and sorry for my english…..

JNixonParticipantYou said it the way I was trying to say it

dwat4444ParticipantI’m not sure how much playing time he would get but being a thunder lover I’d like to see him play. He’ll have to work past Collison, D.J. White, and BJ mullens this year to get playing time at the big spots so I’m not sure he’ll get there this year.

JNixonParticipantDJ White and Mullens can be downed a spot on the depth chart if Ibaka plays well in summer league and training camp
