OhCanada-ParticipantAnybody else watching the championship game.
Dwayne Polee has started off very aggressive. I watched SD State crush Pittsburgh and I think they are very underrated this year. Winston Shepard could emerge as a very good prospect he is very versatile and flashes alot of intrigue. You could develop this guy into so many different types of players a team drafting him could pick him hoping to turn him into a Thad Young type player or even a Terrence Jones or Lamar Odom. Ive always loved his game and its nice to see him putting it together.
Ill take SD State.

BiggysmallsParticipantBoth teams are really similar in that they are stacked with long athletic combo type guys. Shepard, Polee, Obrien, Johnson, Ashley, Hollis-Jefferson…so many guys that are similar. Should be a really fun matchup. Points are going to be tough to come by, both teams rebound well and want to pressure you. Neither is great at shooting, nor do either run particularly efficient half-court offenses.
I won’t pick since its almost halftime lol…both teams should be really good this year and I could see this matchup being a Sweet 16/Elite 8 game again in March. It is a mini-rivalry out west, for now.

OhCanada-ParticipantAlso happy to watch Kevin Zabo get some run. He should be good by his senior year. Hes from Gatineau which is like the boarderline of Ontario and Quebec sort of a sub city of Ottawa (also party central for anyone visting Ottawa.) Never really got much media attention but he was highly praised within the Canadian basketball community and was recruited by most top D-1 teams.

apb540ParticipantI watched most of this game and was really impressed with some of the athletes on the floor. Polee and Sheppard and both great prospects and I was blown away by Stanley Johnson’s development. Would love to see him in a Sixers uniform!
