Not long ago San Antonio’s offense and ball movement was elite all of a sudden it seems like they can’t buy a basket, no ball movement and relying on ISOs. What happened to their ofense? It looks completely stalled

Eversince Adams was the main defensive stopper on Aldridge, OKC havent been doubling him on the low block making spacing issues for Spurs. No open threes for Green and Leonard. I wonder why Pop never played Diaw much in the series.

Rebounding is also an issue for the Spurs. They have been outrebounded in all of their lost games. It certainly helps for OKC that Westbrook averages 7+ rebounds in the series. OKC has a long wingspanned team disturbing the Spurs offense

Diaw wasn’t effective in this series when they did play him. Not athletic enough to match up with okc’s bigs. Matter of fact, SA as a team just wasn’t athletic enough to match up with okc.

You have to wonder if this is it for Duncan. Or ginobilli for that matter.

I suppose they can still play and be good, but I don’t see them winning another championship. They had a hell of a run though. It was a pleasure to watch.

…are way to knee jerk.  They said SA was done after they got beat by Memphis in the first round.  Same story happened when they got beat by LAC.

This team won 67 games and steamrolled a bunch of teams in the process.  Let’s not be overly dramatic after a series just like how everyone booked SA to steamroll OKC.

SA is not done by any means. The culture will still be in place as long as pop is there and they have a great young player on the verge of superstardom in Leonard. They will still continue to be a very good team.

However, it will be different from here on out. Even if Duncan and ginobilli continue to play, they can no longer be counted on to play major roles. Parker is no longer elite. Aldridge, while a very good player, is kind of one-demonsional. This is officially leonard’s team now and they will only go as far as he can take them. As good as he was this year, he will need to be even better next year for them to stay in contention. And getting younger and more athletic in their frontcourt is an absolute must.

Still hate them but I said they are a HUGE team after watching them on LP, and the Spurs are also a pretty big team with Duncan and Aldridge starting, but the youth, size, and length came through with OKC.

Portland also gave  GSW touble even in the postseason, why?  youth and length…

Its a shame we never got to see a playoff Series with GSW and this Spurs squad, but acutally, SA is just getting too old.

So in the playoffs where effort wins games, I mean its disgusting watching the Chicago Bulls or the Heat being unable to run after balls.  Then watching younger teams without the IQ but with the energy and fight.

I’m a purist I’d rather see the game be played the right way which is why I loved recently the Mavs team that beat the Lebrons and then the Spurs team that should’ve beaten Lebron twice!

So sorry but you have to accept reality, the Spurs are an old team.  Old, slow, getting outhustled by the younger dumber guys.

Wow, like SFGiants says…people are pverthinking this. Great series for OKC. And the Spurs? Right now, this is just about talent – they have 2 relibable stars/scorers, neither of which are as reliable scorers as KD or westbrook. This was about talent, plain and simple. Add one or two more pieces in free agency, and next year they can win this series.
