I love this guy, but his shooting has been so inconsistent. He’s a great ball distributor, not arguing that. Talking about his shot. I have not watched as much as I would like with him. Though his FG% and 3pt% are very low. Can I hear something about him from ppl who have seen more of him.

He should concentrate on being a distributor and slasher….Durant, Green and Harden are very good outside shooters….Westbrook is at his best when he is affecting both ends of the floor and putitng pressure on defense…He has fallen in love with the outside shot this year….He can use some improvement on that end but I think he’ll be OK…Should be 2nd option on this team and sometimes forgets that

    Ive seen some games,
super quick, amazing ability to get into the paint.
    great athlete, great defender.
    good passer.

I think he’s a borderline all star this year.
i think he deserves it, but likely wont get it.

I think his mid range game is improving, but he shouldn’t be taking a lot of 3’s. R-Dot, I wouldn’t say he’s a borderline all-star this year. He has vastly improved, but i’m not sure we are talking an all star yet.

I think what you said is a perfect description of Westbrook this season. +1

He’s never been much of a 3 pt. shooter, not even in UCLA. His scoring isn’t as great as he is because he looks to get everybody else some points before him. So when everybody is shut down defensively or the shot clock is ruinning low, he takes the shot, whether he is prepared for the shot or not. When he knows he is going to score, like he knows he is not going to pass, he does score.

Westbrook has alot of potential, once he learns to stay under control and when to score and things like that, he will be a top tier guard.

He’ll be good….He could be as good as he wants to be….Look at Rondo, he has weaknesses, but plays to his strengths and should definitely be an all star this year
