ag-pennypackerParticipantI hope Rudy Gay’s season didn’t end tonight, he was playing so well. His injury looked very minor when it happened but when I read it was an Achilles injury looking at it again it looks bad.

r377ParticipantI am not a Rudy Gay fan but this is a shame to him and the Kings. He had been playing well. Elton Brand was never the same after his achilles injury.
So many players are getting injured, I really hope his injury isn’t as serious…..

KayjayParticipantThey reported that both injuries are nothing serious. They should be fine…

Memphis MadnessParticipantThe Kings are starting to make some noise. Rudy Gay is a heck of a player. If they get a great player in the draft (Embiid) they will be dangerous.
Hopefully he’s found his comfort level in Sacramento.

BasterdInABasketParticipantWatch Rudy Gay go out and Sacramento go on a playoff run. Guys talented but its always addition by subtraction when he leaves. All the talent in the world, size, athleticism, 8 years in the league, dominates the ball and yet he’s never averaged more than 2.8 APG and has 55 career double doubles.

JeffreyhardenParticipantYeah he’s a terrible player because you know when a guy averages 2.9 assist a game he is a game changer lol, you guys are crazy….If you put every player in Phil Jackson’s system or Pop’s system them they would get the most out of their talent. Carmelo Anthony would not be who he is if he was drafted to the Piston’s instead of the Nuggets. A player is just that a player, why would I pass to a wide open Tony Allen who is camped out at the 3 point line if I’m Rudy Gay when I can shoot over a guy. Contested shot OMG if you ever played basketball then you would know that that shot is not as hard as everyone says it is. But for you non-basketball players (90% of this site) no one would know that. Rudy Gay is one of the top 450 basketball players in the world, if he was in the correct system from his rookie year on out he would probably be a 6 time all star going into the prime of his hall of fame career, but since he has had Marc Ivoroni and Dwanye Casey for his coaches then yeah he is going to be what he has become a very rich talented basketball player lol.
