 I was impressed with him during the conference and ncaa tourney but I also know he has some issues.. So I’m curious to how high is his ceiling? What type of player could he be. Or explain why he wont reach his potential..

 Puts me in the mindset of a bunch of things: bigger Lamar Odom/more athletic Boris Diaw/poor man’s LeBron James/ Anthony Mason with more upside

I actually think he could be a steal for a team because of his anxiety disorder and character concerns from his Minnesota days. I would love for him to fall to thee Thunder at 28 and back up KD coming off the bench with James Harden and Eric Maynor. That’s basically 3 point guards!!

I dont know how high is ceiling would be. But watching him during the tournament was definetely exciting. You could see the potential  the second he gets the ball in his hands. But I think the second part of your post would be easier to answer on why he wont reach that potential. Its well documented and discussed on here his anxiety disorder and his fear of flying. He only flew a small handful of times in college, and that alone will be a huge difference in the NBA, having to fly to every away game. That obstacle could easily play a factor in his potential. The meds he is on or takes before games could have him crashing by halftime of games. There were certainly the character issues also, but Im convinced those wont play an issue.

But he was such an exciting player to watch in college that Ill root for him on draft day and when he suits up for whatever team drafts him. Whatever team drafts him will have the best psychiatrists and doctors to help him overcome his fear of flying, his anxiety, and monitoring his meds so it wont affect his game play. I hope the best for him and hope he produces and gets over all of his issues. Ill be cheering him on in the mean time.

A smaller/offensively rawer blake griffen with an ablity to make plays/pass is the way i see him

the base of his game remind me also Boris Diaw but i see in him better scoring instincts and much more aggressiveness and willingness to score the ball, if he develop a jump shot he could be a Jamal Mashburn type scorer.
anyway i think he very underrated in the mock pool cause he has big potential and i can see him going in the lottery to a team like Milwaukee which very suited to his talent and style of play.

So, ideally, then, the Spurs grab him since Diaw will likely look for a payday now.

 I don’t think he projects as a 3 at the next level.  He has the ball handling and passing ability for the position, but he has a very inconsistant midrange and outside shot and lacks the speed to guard perimeter players at the next level.

He’s got the bulk and strength to play the 4 and I think that is where he’s best suited.

 It’s funny I got minus 10 points for comparing him to Diaw, but anyway I really like him as a prospect I think he would be a perfect player for a contender but not the type to build around I hope he gets taken by a team that will be able to utilize his talents like the Heat or Thunder.

 It’s okay, I got a -2 for making an obvious statment. He’s 6’8” 270 lbs and doesn’t have 3 point range or great lateral quickness, but apparently that projects as small forward because he can pass and dribble.

I only saw him play in those 2 tournament games, but in those games he was the best player I had seen all year and was by far the most interesting and exciting prospect I had seen in years.  His vision, court awareness and overall basketball IQ with his size was great to watch.  If those 2 games are what this guy does on a regular basis I think he will be THE steal of this draft at whatever number he is picked.

Joe Wolf is right. Just cuz he can dribble and pass doesnt make him a SF. His FT shooting is bad for a wing as is his foot speed for a true wing. White is good in transition and passing out of the post
