Last Pacers post for a while I promise.

What do you think Indiana could get for Roy Hibbert if they decided to move him?

I have been thinking about team that he may be of use to, I have come up with Dallas (If they don’t go after Monroe), Portland (offered max to begin with), Sacramento (Defensive C to put nest to Cousins), Boston (a true C and move Olynyk to PF). There maybe others but these are the ones that come to mind.

Ideally I would love Sac-Towns 8th pick however Indiana would have to take a contract like Landry or Thompson in return as well as Jason Terry wouldn’t be a bad fit as 6th man in Indiana. I can’t see it happening though.

Portland and Dallas would be trying to acquire a young athletic C like Wright or Leonard and again there would be other pieces involved for salary purposes. Although Dallas has enough cap room for a straight swap (Mavs early 2nd rounder or Larkin would be nice piece to throw in)

Boston trade would be to try and get Rondo and I feel a s&t of Stephenson would be needed also.

I like the idea of Wright and Larkin for Hibbert. What do you guys think?

I don’t think many teams are lining up at the door to trade away assets for a bloated contract and a guy that has had little production in the last few months.

Hibbert was known as a top flight defensive minded, shot blocking, rebounding center and his size caused nightmares for teams…Now the Pacers are making the mistake of trying to turn him into an offensive threat, and run plays thru him, thats not his game..Plus it slows down their offense…..

You are crazy festar. Kings giving up 8th pick for a guy who just nose dived and as of now is way overpaid? Lol, the pacers will have to more likely be the team giving up a pick to get someone to take Hibbert’s contract off their hands.
