Shanetaylor95ParticipantWestbrook-Takes bad shoots , out of control to much , needs to pass more
Rose-tries to do everything on his on , gets out of control but not as bad as Westbrook , takes bad shoots
Cp3-ever since he got injured a couple years ago has been limited athletically , can’t really jump as high as he used
D.will-not really one glaring weakness , all around really good player0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/02/2012 - 6:20am #654344
Meditated StatesParticipantIs not good at stopping penetration. Not as fast in the open court. Not strong defensively and struggles vs quicker guards.CP3 cant attack the paint and finish well like he use to. Limited rebounder, gets steals but is not great at stopping penetration has no deep playoff experience. Westbrook is a shooting guard who is asked to play point. Not much of a creator, turnover prone, shoots first ask questions later PG. Rose does not finish well going left, weak on d gives up penetration too much, shoot first not a great creator but solid.

Im Your FatherParticipantDeron Williams has as much deep post season experience as any of the others. He has been to the conference finals once, as have Rose and Westbrook. Paul has never made it that far.

Im Your FatherParticipantI’m not really bothered by the thumbs down, but how is that point even arguable?

HaleParticipantWestbrook-Plays too out of control, doesn’t display very good PG skills. He’s having a very good year but it’s discouraging to see how his assists went from 8.2 to 5.5 while his turnovers haven’t really been cut down at all.
Paul-Doesn’t really have a true weakness. He’s not ultra-explosive like he used to be, but he can still hold his own against most guys. Although he looks out of place sometimes with the Clips.
Williams-I don’t know, can’t think of one off the top of my head.
Rose-Has become too confident in his jump shot. When he gets hot from deep he starts settling and it’s embarrassing that he takes almost five 3’s per game considering what type of shooter he is. His defense isn’t anything better then decent until the ends of games. Not big time weaknesses but he’s too good of any athlete to average under one steal and under four boards per game (even though he hardly attempts to rebound).

Ghost01ParticipantWestbrook- Has the most glaring weaknesses, but might actually cover them up the best with his upside. He turns it over too much, thats the main one I see. On a team that starts Thabo, Ibaka, and Perkins, I’m not gonna get on him for taking shots.
Rose- He could look to pass more, but I believe he realizes he doesn’t have the teammates to do it. Like Westbrook, I’m not going to condemn his shooting due to the roster he plays on, and what he is asked to do. I do feel though hes reluctant to pass late in games.
CP3- Outside of injuries, which have hampered him, his main weakness to me is this weird thing that happens to him where some games for 2-3 quarters he completely non existent. Some times he makes up for this in the 4th, but its still partially an issue. And for a played who supposedly upgraded rosters from last year, he’s having one of the lower assist totals of his career.
Deron- Does not have the most obvious flaws, however its been 2 years now he hasn’t been good enough to carry his team to the playoffs in a mediocre at best conference. Something Rose and Paul both have done in the past, and something Westbrook has never really had the chance to try.
