sweaterflexParticipantPer minute these are pretty good predictions, I think a few people will get different amounts of playing time, I can’t really imagine Caboclo getting 21 minutes a game. If Payne only shoots 41% from the field he would be in trouble.

franfranParticipantCoboclo could get big minutes for the end of the season, thanks to the exta effort, as with Giannis last year.
I think Payne will sleep in line of 3, and he forget to play inside.

SpartanGloryParticipantSome of those are pretty solid. I think Parker will average closer to 20 ppg. Also, if Payne shot in the upper 80’s/ lower 90’s from the line in college, why would he just drop to 72%?
Your predictions trend downward pretty steadily as you get later in the draft. What’s to say there won’t be some surprises from guys like Gary Harris or PJ Hairston?

franfranParticipantParker played with Mayo, Knight, Ilyasova, i do not think that fit many shots to get 20 points or near this year.
Not easy guess surprises, but i think Hood and McGary will do very well.
Afflalo not will leave many minutes to Harris, and Lance, Henderson equal

SpartanGloryParticipantThat’s a valid observation on the Bucks, however you have to believe that much of the offense will be given to Parker, since they drafted him to be the present and future of the franchise.
And you’re right, it is hard to guess surprises, but there’s always a couple every year. I could see Harris jumping Foye in Denver, and maybe someone like Nurcic comes in and makes an impact.

joecheck88ParticipantI think these are solid but maybe a little tame. If a guy like Smart gets 26-27 min a game I’m sure he would be in double figures scoring. I believe Jabari will be upper teens and possibly 20 but 20 is tough for rookies. I think Wiggins can score 16-17 in Minny if he’s the go to perimeter player. In Cleveland I think you’re about right. Good list and looks like you put in good time. Thanks.

franfranParticipantit all depends on shoot selection, i think in the first year will have bad selection (Smart)

joecheck88ParticipantTrue. I think you’ll get bad shots from most but I think Marcus could get 5 a game from the line in that time. Timr will tell tho. His jumper needs a lot of work as well to open up the lane. I just think Marcus has the ability to put double figures up his first year in a class that I don’t foresee doing that more than 3 or 4 guys.

OhCanada-ParticipantGotta say after signing James Johnson I highly doubt Coboclo plays 21-mpg. He is not ready physically to play PF at this point and can only play SF right now from a physical standpoint and only for stretches. He is way too weak right now for a mans league. His skills and athletisism should allow him to get on the court but not for meaningful minutes. He will also likely be a liability on both ends of the court as far as basketball IQ goes. Casey does let his young guys play through mistakes and confidence issues as we saw with Ross in the playoffs last year so it remains to be seen.

SixerBloodParticipantHow could you forget Nerlens Noel?

SpartanGloryParticipantLooks like he just went by draft order for this year… But he’s my pick for rookie of the year.

lalailaParticipantso by your numbers Nerlens will be the ROY, that’s nice 🙂
it’s OK list for me but I would bet there will be more than 5 double digit scorers and that Parker will surprass your predictions by at least 3ppg

HighlightfilmParticipantWhat is up with the poor scoring production with Jabari Parker, TJ Warren, and etc. you literally predicted that nobody could do as much as half the minutes they get. I believe you should review the roster and their personal stats from summer league and college because the rebounds and everything else was put together nicely but you gave a lot of offensive based players low scoring production I didn’t think in anyway shape of form that Jabari would get 14 points in 33 minutes…If he got 33 minutes I would believe he would at least drop around 17-19 points maybe even 20 if Brandon knight takes another scoring sacrifice like he did in Detroit…. because OJ Mayo wasn’t given the starting position last season and now that they got Kendall Marshall I can see Jason Kidd telling him to get a lot of his assist from Jabari or depending on the rotation it will change this all up but who knows I can’t wait for pre season to start.
