B FreeParticipantI know its early but its fun to look at. The sophomore team will be basically the same roster as last year with the addition of Evan Turner and Paul George and subtraction of Eric Bledsoe and probably Wesley Johnson. That being said the rookie team will be interesting seeing has how there are only 9 spots and with Rubio most likely taking one only 8 for players from last years draft. My question is who do you want to see and who do you think should make it?
I would like to see…
PG- Ricky Rubio
SG-Marshon Brooks
SF-Derrick Williams
PF-Markieff Morris
C- Nikola Vucevic
Bench- Irving, Jimmer, Kawhi Leonard, Tristan Thompson.
That would be the most exciting team with Rubio making plays and feeding Williams, Brooks and Morris. There will be a few players, mostly gaurds, who deserve to make it but get snubbed because they always field a team with enough forwards and centers to compete. While guys like Norris Cole and Chandler Parsons even John Leuer to some extent, have been pleasent suprises and deserve a spot there just aren’t enough to go around.

PrecociousNeophyteParticipantI like your list, but I think Cole, as you mentioned, and Shumpert could also make it

akhan786ParticipantBoth Kyrie and Rubio should start because both in my opinion are the best rookies this year.

QuickPostCParticipantJimmer doesn’t deserve to make it…………replace him with Cole……and try to find a way to get Shumpert in there…..maybe a 10 guy roster?…….a lot of impressive rookies this year.
They should adjust the size of the roster according to how the rookies are playing each year. For instance this year should have a 10 or 11 man roster, while the 2000 draft would have had a 1 or 2 man roster lol

dmo21ParticipantAs of right now this is what my teams would look like for the Rookie/Sophomore game:
Rookies-
G- Irving, Knight
G- Rubio, Shumpert
F- Brooks, Leonard
F- Williams, Thompson
C- Morris
Sophomores-
G- Wall, Turner
G- George
F- Jerebko, Hayward
F- Griffin, Favors
C- Monroe, Cousins
The rookies are full of guards and the sophomores have a lot of big men. I see the sophomores easily winning this game.

Chilbert arenasParticipantAren’t they doing it like they did the NHL all star game this year with captains picking teams between rooks and sophs??

pe3ucTopParticipantI like a lot of your lists. One name I don’t see is Greg Stiemsma. I think he deserves the starting spot at center.

B FreeParticipant@QuickpostC I would love to make it a 10 man roster but they haven’t given me authority to do so, so like every year it will be a nine man roster. Jimmer will make it just because who he is and his hype.
Irving will obvioulsy start but I put Rubio in my lineup out personal preference, I think Rubio brings more excitment. With Norris since his 20 point game he has been scoring less every game and is inconsistent. Also I know everyone on this site seems to be a huge Shumpert fan but I am still waiting, while he has been consistent he also has half the amount of games then most of the other rookies.
