AwrightAwrightAwrightParticipantAny other Sixers fans out there also watching the Summer League ? I feel bad for the forwards who were actually drafted, like Jerami Grant and KJ McDaniels, getting outplayed by an undrafted Ronald Roberts. I really had high hopes for Jerami Grant but he looks like a non-factor compared to Roberts. It looks like the Sixers might just choose to keep Roberts and maybe send Grant to the D-League or something. I can’t complain either way coz Roberts is turning out to be quite a pleasant surprise for us. Thoughts ?

gabriel_akvaParticipantWhat about Casper Ware and Travis Bader!

AwrightAwrightAwrightParticipantThey’re doing pretty well in game 2 today. But, I was referring to over the course of two games, Ron Roberts seems to be outplaying everyone on the Sixers squad.

TRC1991ParticipantRonald Roberts should have been drafted. He’s a monster athlete…If he was 1 inch taller, he probably would have been picked. He’ll definitely make the 6ers roster.

AwrightAwrightAwrightParticipantI hope that, not only will he make our roster, but that they will make him a starter at PF as well.

delfamParticipantnot sure why Roberts didn’t get drafted, he’s a beast and has all the skill in the world and is athletically off the charts. He is a little self-centered but has all the tools you’d want in a PF.

providencefriars1ParticipantKJ McDaniels played well today, but Grant was not good. McDaniels was aggressive and hit a couple of jumpers which is his weakness. He looks like he could play the two as well as the three. Grant looks a few years away from being an NBA player if at all. Roberts playing well shouldn’t be seen as a negative for their other forwards though.

gabriel_akvaParticipantProbably he’ll receive an offer from 76ers. He’s doing well in Summer League.
Also, the guys of NBA TV said that many teams are scouting Travis Bader for a contract after Summer League.

OhCanada-ParticipantWhats up with Sims he was a beast against the Raptors in a game I watched last year. He played so agressive picked his spots well on both ends of the court, rebounded well and brought tons pf energy.

AwrightAwrightAwrightParticipantNothing’s up with him. He’s still on the Sixers regular season roster. Just not participating in the Summer League as far as I know. He will split time with Noel at the 5 this upcoming season.

imAboutDatActionParticipantGrant is the worst kind of tweener.
Not surprised one bit by his struggles.

vulture711ParticipantAt 6-7 1/2 and skinny – he’s a 3. Unfortunately he’s a 3 who can’t shoot or handle the ball. He can maybe help on D with ball pressure and trap, but aside from that has little basketball ability. If he were drafted in football I would stick him on special teams – he has D league written on his forehead where other "freak" athletes go who can’t actually play

imAboutDatActionParticipantI just checked Roberts college stats and for all his athletcism, he didnt make the impact on the defensive end or on the glass like he should’ve in his 4 years. Top that with being 6’8 and having no offensive skill, its obvious why he wasn’t drafted.

TheTruth86ParticipantHey, it’s SL … Ronald Roberts outplays KJ and JG, that’s okay, but you shouldn’t sign them off, just bc they sucked at SL.
