Apparently the Rockets really want Rondo. Easy to see why since they don’t have a true point, they need someone to distribute the ball amongst a bunch of ball dominant players. I.e. James Harden. And they swung and missed on the marquee free agents and lost Parsons, Asik and Lin for pretty much nothing.

Although let me say the Rockets have absolutely ZERO assets to offer the Celtics. The only players Danny Ainge was interested in were Asik and Parsons, and Morey let them both go for pennies on the dollars. Daryl Morey really screwed up big time risking a lot trying to sign Melo and Chris Bosh. It has completely backfired on him.

This really, really hurts the Rockets chances to add another big name to their core and has set them back in the championship hunt.
