lakers *no bias at all here, lol*. I think the lakers will have some ups and downs early in the season, but i hope they try to send a message tonight in the home opener and get this one done.

I always find the ring ceremonies funny...Seeing a guy that gets no playing time and had really nothing to contribute to them winning recieving a ring and speaking to the crowd it just too funny.

Like I said if Yoa stays healthy this team has a great shot at making the Western Conference Finals. I think they are number 2 in the west they are a better rounded Orlando Magic imo. Thats if Yao is healthy. Great D, score first gaurds, lockdown SF's and a dominant C. They also have Scola and insane depth maybe the deepest team in the league. Yao wont stay healthy thoiu lol.

odom is looking like a man possesed out there. I felt that he was as impressive as any laker during the preseason.

The WC's with the USA team helped him, obviously. Mostly, staying in shape.

lakers defense is struggling. Houston is getting great looks almost everytime down. Houston is a very solid team. Their quickness and athleticism is gonna give lots of teams fits.

How ya like that lakers bench. 32points!!!!!!!!!  And that's without odom coming off the bench. 26 of it in the second half!!!! Have we ever had 32 points off the bench that didn't include odom? 

I like the idea of starting fish though because of his age we don't want him coming in late and trying to get warmed up while the other teams point guard is already loose. Now we just need to get Kobe to get healthier and barnes to get more comfortable then bynum back by thanksgiving.
