auberParticipantI know a lot of guys are hyped up about Tyreke Evans declaring this year, but what do you guys think about Robert Dozier? I personally like his game as a potential 6th man in this league. He’s got a nice frame that could add maybe 20-30lbs to it. He’s 6’10 and has a variety of ways to score. Possibly a poor mans Anthony Randolph come a few years? I see him being an early second round pick and a solid contributor from the get go if the right team picks him. He averaged 13-8-2-2-2 in his Senior year at Memphis.

gatorheelsParticipantMy only question is if he plays SF how is he going to penetrate? He doesn’t seem to be that quick or that good of a ballhandler. Also he seems to skinny to play PF but he can gain weight. I don’t think he can guard small forwards in the NBA. So his defense is a big question mark as well as his true position. But Dozier has some skills and I think he will get drafted mid second round.

knicksfreakParticipantHe physically reminds me of Posey. Good not great athlete, long, decent inside/outside game. With work he could be like James.

birdman1113Participantit all matters where hes drafted if hes drafted by a bad team he could be decent because hell get playing time, otherwise he might do pretty bad.

JNixonParticipantA Jared Jeffries type NBA career would be a success for Dozier. He cant shoot, pass, handle, or defend at an NBA level. All he has is NBA-level length and height. Not a good enough skill set

leglockfanParticipantDozier is not very good and I will be surprised to see how he takes to the NBA at all. This is coming from a Memphis Tigers homer too btw

sheltwon3ParticipantI think if he goes to the right team and becomes a niche player he could stick around. He would actually not want to go to a bad team because he is more a team player type that can help good teams down the road. On a bad team he will look limited.

blancs50ParticipantHe is definitely a poor man’s H. Warrick. Not enough skill or quickness to play the 3 and to weak to play the 4. Listed at 6’10” but that’s questionable and only 205 lbs. I’d love to believe that he could develop a three point shot and better lateral quickness to play the three, or gain strength and play the 4, but he is 23 years old, and he seems to have improved minimally over the last few years meaning its unlikely.

ctw724ParticipantThat’s what I see.
If I were the Bulls brass, I would try to buy him from another team in the 2nd Round.
