Ridiculously Early 2010 All-Rookie Team
C-Hasheem Thabeet
PF-Jordan Hill (Call me Crazy, but I don't think Blake Griffin is ALL that.)
SF-WAIT FOR IT...BAM Terrence Williams
SG-Steph Curry (Derozen and Harden will take some time, but I wouldn't be surprised if they make it)
PG-Ricky Rubio (My favorite rookie and besides A.I I love this kid's game)
Haha...many will say i'm crazy or stupid or un knowledgable about the game, but just going on what I believe. So call me stupid :)
First Team

SG: James Harden
SF: DeMar Derozen**

*Only if Golden State doesn't draft a PG.

So many variables. What team does a player land on? How does the player continue to develop? I'm just gonna do a 1st & 2nd team with the five starting spots that could easily make this team after one year in the league.
1st
PG: Tyreke Evans
SG: DeMar DeRozan
SF: James Harden
PF: Blake Griffin
C: Hasheem Thabeet
2nd
PG: Brandon Jennings
SG: Wayne Ellington
SF: Terrence Williams
PF: Earl Clark
C: Jordan Hill
For the first team, scorers thrive in the NBA, especially on teams that need scoring. Evans, DeRozan, Harden and even Griffin are going to land on teams that need scoring (sans maybe Washington). Thabeet will be a dominate force in the paint wherever he goes, so he will get a look for the first and second teams.
The second team is trickier. Jennings goes on here because he has a year under his belt in Europe with NBA-type competition. Ellington is another scorer that will be a nice surprise on any team. T-Will is a do-it-all type that will blend well in the NBA game. Earl Clark, if he finds that passion, will be a multi-faceted player in no time. Jordan Hill is a boom/bust for me, but no other big men are on my radar after him.

C - Hasheem Thabeet
PF - Blake Griffin
SF - Earl Clark
SG - James Harden
PG - Brandon Jennings
6th - DeJuan Blair
I really like Jordan Hill but I think he is going to take a year to make the leap over most of his draft class. Curry will fade just a bit as teams figure out the man has a pretty good jumpshot but little else by NBA standards. DeRozan hasn't figured it out yet, Tyreke Evans' game doesn't really translate on an elite starter level. Rubio will take just a few years to pay major dividends if he goes to a fast paced team with athletic bigs, and Jrue's offense needs to catch up with his defense. Thoughts?
