M-DYMESParticipantMy Favorite player of all-time hands down. He was poetry in motion.

McDunkinI agree with you MDYMES and i actually thought this is how sergio rodriguez would play in the league..does anybody have a video of that bounce pass he did from the ground at like half court?

sheltwon3ParticipantOne of my favorite players. I wonder where he will go next year because he can still ball.

llperezi went to some of his games as a rookie, and he would do stuff like this every game. People on the playgrounds would be talking about the latest JWill highlights and trying to mimic him. He defnitely toned it down a lot over the years, but one of the most exciting players i have ever seen.

kingoftheplaygroundParticipanthe was sick w/ sacramento. he averaged alot of turnovers but the excitement he brought outweighed them all. the “off the elbow” pass, full court bounce passes, killer crossovers (especially the 1 on gary payton). poeple actually wanted to wear the #55 when i was in highschool lol

MagikKnickParticipantDid he retire or something? Is there a cause for the occasion?
But anyway, in Sac he was the most amazing passer i’d ever seen, when u thought he was passing left, he’d swing it right, and vice versa…..He mastered the unpredictability factor

CelticJayhawkParticipantThe epitomy of ambidexterity..if thats a word..he used both hands equally well. Back when I went to camps and such, they always said whatever you do with your dominant hand, you have to do equally well with your non dominant hand.
Now that we’re countless years from the trade, was Bibby for Jwill worth it? Who benefitted more?

BasketBalAllanParticipantAs a Kings fan I do not think that I can bash the Kings ownership for trading Jwill, they were so close to winning that championship with Bibby at the point that you cannot really fault someone for building what I think is probably one of the best teams to never win a championship. That being said I think it’s fairly obvious who got the short end of the stick, Jwill. I think the trade stunted his growth as a player and frustrated him and others to the point at which he was never going to be as good as he could have become.

DanEboyParticipantI also remember him throwing up this crazy rainbow shot from 3 in the rookie game I believe. I can’t find any footage of it but if anyone remembers, it had insane arc on it.

llperezi remember SLAM magazine did an issue with 3 different covers debating who was the best rookie and who was gonna have the best career between Paul Pierce, Vince Carter and Jason Williams. It was after their rookie season was over.
