Can these two workout sence kings traded Spenser Hawas??
Cousions is a big body that could work in the post and kings need a person who can get rebounds!!!
Dalembeart can Really get rebounds also and carl landary is a good power foward!!
so that comes to reke..reke and cousions i see very good with each other in 2 years because i think reke is going to have himself a SIDEKICK like Jordon And Pimpin!!
I Think the only thing they need is a Real Shooting Guard NOW!!
Dont Forget kings might do something to get rubio from the wolves!!! But i doubt that because noc is gone and hawas as Well!!

First the Wolves pass on Cousins (possible if he’s there at 4, but not a slam dunk as people forget Hollins is the only Center on roster at this moment). The idea that they may sign Darko isn’t exactly preventing a Cousins pickup either. Then they hand over Ricky Rubio’s rights for what a bag of beans. Minnesota will be a playoff team in 3 years IF they can get Rubio to come over next year. First round and out most likely, but a playoff team none the less.

The masterplan for the T-Wolves was simple:

Draft BPA in 2009 Ricky Rubio — once this was done everything else builds on this
    Clean out cap room Done
Draft around that BPA in 2009 Does anyone really think Flynn isn’t Rubio’s backup?
Ellington is a 3 pt roleplayer nothing more
Evaluate what you have No center (Al is a PF and Hollins isn’t a starter)
Non-compatible PF’s Love and Jefferson won’t coexist much longer
A back up 2/3 in Brewer
A back up PG in Flynn

Draft well in 2010 Pick 4 will likely be BPA with roster holes at 2,3 and 5
Pick 16 Pick 23 and Pekovic will likely be part of trades
trades up in this draft or for non-superstar current players

Fill Roster slots PG — let Flynn play until Ricky comes
SG — pick 4, 2011 draft, trades or cap space Ellington back up
SF — pick 4, 2011 draft, trades or cap space Brewer back up
PF — Love or Jefferson back up needed
C — pick 4, 2011 draft, trades or sign Darko and or pay Pekovic

Don’t do list Expect to win in 2010-2011
    Take on any bad contracts
Think Rubio will turn everything around his first year

Do list Draft a starter in 2010 (filling the 2,3 or 5)
    Draft a starter in 2011
Pay but don’t overpay for a non-superstar in 2010 FA

I guess the reason I’m ranting is Rubio is the center of the T wolf rebuilding plan. He will not end up on the Kings or any other team that doesn’t pay through the nose for him.

Most people haven’t looked into his contract situation very closely when he decided not to come over last year. Hell I wouldn’t have in his shoes the $$$ cost benefit was way out of wack and after taxes he would have been in the hole over a $1 million after 2 years in the NBA (endorsements not considered). His new deal pays him better, put him on a better team to develop with and has a much smaller buy out next year. Does he come over next year 2011-2012 maybe. He’ll be able to afford it and the Wolves will have had 2 draft and a major FA period to show him who he’d be working with then. He might wait one more year get paid well in Europe and aim for 2012-2013 as he’ll be eligible for non-rookie pay scale then. T-Wolves will wait and suck, but they will wait. I believe he will probably come over, but it’s no guarantee. T-Wolves management is all-in on Rubio. They will make every effort to get him to come. So in closing:

Good lord the Kings will not do “something” to get Rubio from the Wolves!!!!!

Why people think Sacramento wants Rubio .. they passed on him once .. why would they trade for a him now…. let alone taking the ball out of Tyreke,s hands and into Rubios, … Udrih and Evans are a very copacetic match …. Kings don,t need Rubio…. sure another Guard with PG skills maybe a Felton as a Free Agent might be possible … but paying through the nose for a guy who is what another year or 2 away before its possible to play in the NBA .. I don’t think so ..

I would LOVE for the Kings to do that, but knowing Petrie, it’s not happening. Still, that team could quickly become a bandwagon like the ’07 Warriors. Definitely fun to watch.
