ESPN is reporting that Lebron James mom has been arrested.  Why are they reporting it?  Is she an athlete?  They do anything to bury Lebron, yet they are the ones who built him into the monster he is.  I don’t think the media should be touching topics regarding players family members.

normal I would agree with you that players families should be off limits to the media, but she made herself a public figure by sleeping with one of her sons teammates.

Media’s coverage really bothers me now. They get way too personal. Like when at the Heisman Ceremony and BCS National Championship when they talk about Cam Newton’s scandal (for the record I can’t stand Newton). Why would they do that? Those are supposed to be moments of celebration. Or when John Wall was interviewed after the Rookie game and Sager called Cousins selfish. The media is getting way too involved.

Come on now how many people post things on here that is’t really basetball related

    Nash Baby drama

Villinova players sleeping with there teammates girlfriends

    Wall drug test

    Rose DUI

Basically if a athlete is involved or someone close to a star athlete is involved its news. Even you made a post about it on here and that feeds into the logic that people either wanna hear about it or talk about it

u know wat news outlets are about nowadays, more scandal than actual news. They want the most hits on their website and don’t care how they get it or who they slander. Arrests are public records though and Lebron is too high profile of an athlete for this to go unnoticed, not that i’m saying its justifable, its just how it is these days

Lebron isn’t the only athlete that gets this kind of treatment. ESPN (and unfortunately most sports publications) loves these kinds of non-stories.

Anybody remember this from last year?

The most ridiculous thing about this article is that OJ did not live with his father while growing up. His father is 16 years older than he is yet somehow his mistakes can tarnish his son’s name…garbage
