I have had enough of Dan Gilbert. This guy has about as much self control as ‘Pooky’ working for Nino Brown! Does he not realize that his emotions just ruined the slim chance that any marquee FA would ever want to come play for him? Youre mad because youre team cant compete with the "big-market" teams?.

Putting a sour taste in every players mouth in the league between youre handling of the "Decision" and now this whole CP3 deal is not how you attract FA’s. At some point you just have to realize it is your fault only that the Cavs cant compete. YOU blasted LeBron pubicly for excercising a god given right (after he just sold out your arena countless times for 7 years, lining your pockets with untold ammounts of money.)  YOU gave LeBron a supporting cast that produced one of the worst records in the NBA last year minus him. YOU turned down a deal that would’ve netted you Amare Stoudamire because you didn’t want to give up J.J. Hickson, but then deal Hickson for Omri Casspi. YOU drafted Luke Jackson with a lottery selection. YOU drafted Desagana Diop with a lottery selection. The list goes on. Suck it up, no business investment is ever fool proof. You knew you were buying a smaller market team when you bought the Cavs.

All this talk and fear about parity by "Super-Teams", yet none of the so called "Super-Teams"  won the championship last year: Dallas did last I checked! Yes, Dallas has a higher payroll then most teams. Dallas also only has one legitimate superstar in Dirk Nowitzk who when compared to the Kobe’s and LeBron’s of the world, isn’t really much of a ticket attraction anyway. Winning attracts fans and fans bring the money that teams need to compete: FACT. Think of how much of us took notice of Dallas after they won last year. My girlfriend whose never even followed basketball now says the Mavericks are her favorite team simply because they won. While she may be a bandwagoner, Dallas just picked up one more fan for the simple fact they are winners.

If owners can relocate franchises and make trades that relocate whole families (not just a player), then that same player when earned the leverage or right to do so should be allowed to decide where he wants to not only play at but raise his family and live. Dan Gilbert, my advice to you is to sell your ownership stake if your not happy being a part of the NBA and what it stands for. Avoid the losing seasons and heart ache you are going to put the fans of Cleveland through, because mark my words you will NEVER be able to build a winning team as long as youre at the reigns.

After suffering a torn meniscus and undergoing surgery in July that kept him out of the Olympics, Griffin was still able to put in a lot of individual work this summer.

“Being a better defender, being a better help defender and a better on the ball defender, that’s really my main focus throughout camp,” Griffin said.

Before tip, Griffin tossed in a 75-footer that managed to go in, which seemed to excite his teammates even more than the raucous crowd.
