Joseph is a better defender than Irving he doesnt overdribble as much and he is more of a winner.IMO he is like an athletic Derek Fisher and perfect for the triangle offense.

Corey Joseph is the best pure point guard in this class. Still be hard pressed to take him over Kyrie and Im a huge CJ fanboy no homo. Rivers>Teague but Rivers is a SG

Funny you say that…C.J. is being scouted as a combo gaurd due to his 3 point shot and athletisism.They say his game is like Stephen Curry’s which I strongly disagree with.

CJ as a combo guard, I guess. He’s going to Texas where hell be the starting PG from day 1. I really dont see him as a combo guard at all. His high level of athleticisim and his defense, should get him time at the 1 in the L, right away. I think people sleep on passing skills and court vision, because of his jr year at findlay when they let Avery run the point. Avery I see as a combo, but CJ I see as a pure point. Don’t sleep on the kid, he’s going to a great one.

Im kind of surprised that you don’t feel the same way, as you seem to be a Findlay Prep fan. Every time I saw them in person (even his jr year), I felt like CJ was a pure point, and I thought he showcased those skills during the all star games. At least Evan Turner agrees with me, on CJ being the best pure point out of this class!
