lakesidebenParticipantMinnesota will have 3 consecutive #1s on their roster this fall (most likely). Here is an attempt at ranking the best 3 consecutive #1s in history based on combined talent and accomplishment.
1) Hayes, Alcindor, Lanier-Hard to argue with this one. It gets more difficult now.
2) Worthy, Sampson, Olajuwon
3) Sampson, Olajuwon, Ewing-Sorry Knicks fans. Gotta give Worthy the nod for the titles.
4) Baylor, Boozer, Robertson-Two legends and an All-Star. You could maybe convince me putting this as high as
5)Boozer, Robertson, Bellamy
6)Ewing, Daugherty, Robinson-a lot of talent, not a lot of titles.
7)James, Howard, Bogut-someone in this group is adding this years title to their resume.
8) Ming, James, Howard-if only Yao could have played a little longer.
9) Wall, Irving, Davis-yeah I’m getting ahead of myself. But there will be Championships and MVPs here before its done.
10) Johnson, O’Neal, Webber-Shaq may justify a spot almost alone and the other 2 were my favorite players as a kid, so there you go.
Impossible to quantify, and harder than I thought it was going to be….and I know, I know…no Magic or Walton??

BiggysmallsParticipantWell this three year stretch will lose because Anthony Bennett is terrible…
Think Wiggins will be really good. Top 10 type guy in his prime if he continues his career arc. KAT and Okafor are both highly thought of though I don’t see either one being truly transcendent
